Teal. The black really won't show off the design of the wheel; to me black only works on larger wheels these days.

You can't go wrong with coloured centers and polished lips. Plus IMO it has wider appeal if/when you sell them in the future.

    Thanks for the opinions, everyone!
The rims have been turned on a lathe once already. And thanks to a stealth curb in a McDonalds drive-thru, will need it again. I'll have to seek some professional advice as to if they can be taken down a bit more. I'm already excited for next summer

Thinking of spacing out front and rear. I was thinking 3-5mm up front and 5-10mm out back. What can I do without chopping my studs?

^ Just spacers no more than 5mm to be save.

If you want the spacers and stud deals you have to go to 15mm I think to keep stock length studs

I have 15mm out back and needed extended studs but might be different for the first gen though?

What did it take to install the extended studs?

Remove the brakes, hammer out the stock studs, then put the new ones in. Took about an hour and a half for just the rear, and I hear the fronts take a lot longer as well

My fronts will be fine (imo) as is or with a small spacer. Its my rears that I really want to poke out because of the greater stretch

Then again, I may be happy with the look when I get more low.

If you want to do spacers there's a guy locally that sells spacers and extended studs. The guy that was doing my alignment recommended him to me. Apparently he can also do custom built spacers as well.

Haha, Phil told me about this deal on BBM this week. Unfortunately I never have $900 lying around so it'll have to be a calculated purchase lol

I think I'm leaning towards Stance GR+ coils. You can get 'em for $1150 taxes included, and they claim their new design can tuck rim
I dunno though, brand new BC's with EDP for $900? If that deal comes up again when I have the money, I may jump all over it.

    That deal is gone.

Where does stance make that claim? link?

I have no link. I'm going off a conversation with a sponsor who contacted them on my behalf for info about max drop. This is what I was told:

Just got off the phone with the guys at Stance. They have a new revised version that goes even lower. They say "tucking wheels shouldn't be a problem"

Tucking wheel's or tires? 19's or 17's? Seems like a vague answer but I'm interested to see them installed.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Stance GR+'s but they wouldn't go as low as I wanted. It's funny thinking back that I originally just wanted to go around 2 inches lower. Then when I put the coils on the car I just kept cranking them down every week until they were bottomed out. Now I can't even get out of my underground parking without scraping the bumper a bit. lol

Haha, guess you're right. They probably mean tucking tire not rim. I'd have to have some sort of confirmation from them that they will go low enough.

Went for a little drive this morning, car was pretty clean so I decided to pull over and take a couple shots. I put my RA's back on cause I was sick of how fast road gunk built up on my doors.

Eyelids will be getting paint soon (probably, I'm lazy).

I think I might get RA too, little sprinkle on the roads and the rear and the sides look like i went off roading.

And nice you got the eyelids. Looks good as is, compliments the plastidipped grill. lol and you have one reverse light cut out of the red tint? Nice

lol, yeah just one reverse light Don't know why I decided to leave it... but I feel no desire to do the other one now haha

If I go lower, I'll have to leave the rear RA's off. They scrape every time I leave the driveway as is, and I'm sure if i were lower they'd just rip off.

Love the look of your car...really makes me regret getting velocity red lol.

The 3 looks mint, might have to grab a set of the flaps as well, they look nice and they're functional which is always nice

I did it after. I found a tupperware lid that was the size I wanted and traced around it with a sharpie. Then I very carefully scored the film with an razor along the line. Kept going very slowly untili was through. I might have scratched up the inner tail lens a bit, but if I take the film of it'll be because I'm switching my tails out for LED's.
