I guess it's time to let the proverbial cat outa the bag.....I SOLD MY 07 AND GOT A 2102 GS SKYACTIV SEDAN

autotrans (wife wants to drive it too)

16" alloys
Got them to throw in Fogs n tint all around
stay tuned for pics later this week....once I get it, I'll mod my sig to reflect new car....then as soon as I have 50+ posts...minor partout will commence. Then let the carnage begin

ended up being a loose wire on the battery. didn't know it would cause the whole car to shut off.

also a tow truck showed up as soon as a started it..lol so lucky. besides i would definitely need a flat bed and not a wrecker.

Man that sucked when you told me I was heading through Milton ready to turn back...then praying I'd be good for the rest of the ride lol. My car actually drove really good...I think resetting the ECU sometimes brings back some life into your car.

Salesman calls me up the other day and says to me I qualify for "customer loyalty" (we already bought 2 cars from same dealer)....and wants to give me 0.9%.....I say "ok...can you give me a 2012 GS Sky at what I'm paying for my ride right now?, and I'll be interested"

Dude calls me back bout 10 min later and says they can prolly do it...I say "ok.....Tell ya what....if you throw in tints n fogs?.....I'll be VERY interested." then he says what they all say ...."lemme go talk to my manager" ...CAlls me later at work and says "I think we can do that!". I THEN make sure to tell him "not to waste my time (or his)", that "if I tell you I'm coming down there to talk, fogs n tints are NON-NEGOTIABLE...no fogs n tints?....NO DEAL!!...and I walk!" He did say something interesting that I'm not sure if alot of people know, but the hard core hagglers already know, is it's that at the end of the month is a good time to deal because if they have any inventory left, they have to move (sell) it. And that's when to buy....when THEY are hungry for a sale...commissions, inventory, it's all on the line. anyway.....back on topic....

I think it was stevenma188 (sp?) who was thinking producing a bunch. Not sure what happened, but I gathered at the time that it was just too much work to make it worth it for both the buyer and seller.

Ya that was me. Made 3 other ones and then stopped cuz I didn't have the time any more.
