I saw a Dodge Charger police car over at Ninth Line between Eglinton & Brittania. Didn\'t have time to snap a pic and didn\'t really want to get pulled over for trying to take a picture while driving.
So Look Out!!!

yeah I seen one too, here in btown...
do all these cop cars have stock engines?
Andrew - wa wa wee wa
I saw that last night!
There was some little girl that got hit by a car at some intersection in brampton, sandalwood and something. And there were like 4 cops, an ambulance and some other cars.
My friends and I were all SO SHOCKED to see that the cops are getting sneakier and sneakier!
2005 Winning Blue Mica sedan (sold)
2006 Snowflake White Pearl hatch (sold)
Those police cars look awesome, saw the news article in the Star on Satursday. Pretty cool looking versus the old Crown Victoria they\'re replacing. I believe the most powerful engine that they have is stil just the Hemi V8s. Nothing special.
Anyone tried to out run the new cop cars. :p
the Grand Marquis have Corvette engines, because when I was in highschool the cop popped the hood for us to see and sure enough there was the two flags, and corvette on the engine.
Not sure what the Impalas are packing, still havent seen the charger but wont try to outrun him in the 3.
Dan-O The Man-O
damn peel cops!
they are true bstds!
the rule is,
don\'t run from cops . . .
unless u r close a boundry line that is . . .
lol

saw a 300c cruiser at britannia and creditview

Did it have lights on top or was it more of a undercover car?
white undercover
was the one I saw in DT a few months back
we should make a list of cars to watch out for![]()
just watch for the cop rims and typical models/speed traps, and u\'ll be ok =)
by then it\'s too late.. how about you just obey the laws?Originally posted by Fuman

A friend told me there is an under cover cop driving around with an RSX modded on the street. He\'ll drive beside you and kind of make it look like he\'s going to race but instead he\'ll just call up to other cops and book you.

The Ford Crown Victoria (not the Mercury Grand Marquis, same car, different marketing) has a 4.6L V8 putting out around 240hp/290tq at the crank. a variant of this engine is found in the Mustang, not the Chevy Corvette.
The Chevy Impalas back in the day (RWD, not the FWD version of today) had the LT1 5.7L V8 from the Corvette. The engine didn\'t have the Corvette engine covers, unless the cop that brought it to your school put the cover on for shits and giggles. The FWD Impalas have the regular 3.8L V6, which a 3 should be able to leave (until it hits the limiter).
Car and Driver compared the Crown Vic Police Interceptor with an \"off-the-shelf\" Crown Vic and the Police Interceptor was actually slower than the off-the-shelf/dealer-bought version. reason being, all the extra weight (i.e. front push bar, shield inside, etc), shitty aerodynamics with the light bar, etc.
If the police Chargers have the 345hp 5.7L HEMI, they may be hampered by the extra weight, but they are still quick nonetheless. A NA 3 will have no chance to outrun one, especially with the 188km/h speed limiter. a boosted 3 with no speed limiter may be able to leave a Charger. If it\'s the 6.1L SRT-8 HEMI, then don\'t even try.
some cars may be able to outrun a cop car, but you can\'t outrun a radio.

and undercover cops with toyota sienna vans, been pulled over twice by those
I had the benefit of seeing the Halton Region\'s line up of unmarked vehicles. it was a while a go (3-4 years) but from what I can recall:
Ford Crown Victorias (A lot of them)
Chevrolet Impalas (A lot of them)
Volvo S70 (A few, maybe 7-10)
Chrysler Intrepids (only a couple)
Ford Explorer (at least 10)
and believe it or not...
<2002 Honda Civic Sedan (1)
<2002 Honda Accord Sedan (1)
^^^ Both of these are stock vehicles used for normal traffic patrol. Outfitted with very well hidden lights (everything was strobes, built into an exisiting housing, headlight, tail light etc.) with the only exception of an LED flasher behind the rear view mirror. No light bar, no lights in the rear window. These cars were chosen because of the commonality on public roads and they aren\'t very suspicious looking.
Mazda3 SOLD. Bye Bye XeBa
My buddy got pulled over by an unmarked G35 cop car in Mtl and I\'ve been pulled over by a SRT10 (just got a warning) and back in Vancouver during my highschool days, I came across a lot of modded unmarked cop cars while I was stupid enough to go to illegal street races (this was way before the fast and furious days and import street racing was still an underground thing)
Word is on the street that they will be using Mopar SRTs. This being said, there may be an unmarked Viper GTS (think it\'s a \'98) in red, with phantom (ghost) lettering, more power, etc. The Charger is the beginning of using lots of power in the police cars.
This being said, I just made it from my place to mine (Bathurst/Steeles to New Westminster/Centre) in 30seconds, 265 km/h Viper GTS. As much as I like the Mazda products, I am majorly involved with Dodge.
I\'ve seen Camero RS\'s used by the Florida Highway Patrol.
London Ontario has a RSX... I think it\'s for a street racing safety program, not an actual patrol car though... but looks cool. haha
What can we say? With all the tihsllub going on these days, cops are packin\' more heat!
I saw the Dodge Charger this morning looking for speeders. This Accord was speeding behind me. All of a sudden, I saw the charger burst out onto the road and turn it\'s sirens on. That car is FAST!
