Default IMPROVED GAS MILEAGE WITH VIBRANT?

... or in general anyone with an aftermarket full cat back exhaust.
Has anyone else experienced improved fuel mileage?

After I had my Vibrant installed I\'m constantly hitting around 350ish at half tank.
Even after I replaced my air filter to a K&N a week later it was pretty much the same result (350/360 @ half tank).

And againnnnnn.. no. The car is NOT granny driven. I\'m stuck in stop & go in the mornings and I\'m hammering it home at 140 at night. If anything I\'ve been beating on it to hear the exhaust...

No offense MAZDA Kitten but you get the best mileage of any of the Mazda3\'s on this site from what I\'ve read. At times it sounds better than what the specs indicate is possible. Maybe your car was built on a day where the planets were aligned or something.

Like you needed anything else to give you better mileage!

I dont know how else to document it besides a time/date stamp on my camera and pics in intervals on the gas gage but as God as my witness thats what I experience on a weekly CONSISTENT basis.
Maybe its because they were using my car as a lunch getter when I bought it with 44km who knows! But whatever they did it worked...

LOL!! Dont ever... do I look like an elderly person?
I stop after ONE click. *CLICK*... *STOP*

I\'d be scared to leave my baby with erratic driving behaviours! LOL

Okay... how about if I give you my SHELL swipe card because thats all I use and I\'ll report back to you in a week huh huh?

Just wondering if the wheel size rotation has something to do with gas mileage calculation. I vaguely recalled that bigger wheel means lower mileage number or is it vice versa or could I be blowing smoke?

Anyhow, if that\'s gas mileage, more power to you. Must have some sort of majic thingy under the hood. :p

An exhuast does lean out the car in general. Thats why you get the 10-12HP.

air filter...oh yeah.. I better check minearc or put my CAI back on.

This thread sounds like an ad for Vibrant.

With gas prices nowadays, I guess everyone should slap on a Vibrant exhaust. Anyone have their number handy? :p

Hey Kitten, if my figures are right that\'s about a 15 percent increase which is not too shabby.I am also at the moment averaging about 290-320 km @ the half-way mark without the Vibrant or K&N filter.....that\'s very promising news, thank-you.
By the way have you noticed any little humph in power at all...just curious.

    Thanks,
