Do you mean as an average?

If not, at times I even manage to get to a continuous 6.1 (no not on a slight downhill) with my 2.3

I didn't know the sedans now have a 55 litre tank. May 2010 GS Sedan definitely has a 50. Still impressive to get 51 litres into it though. Fuel pump must be cavitating by the time he hits the station.

I get about the same average as you sarujo. That's just below my combined figure during the summer. I think I could get this with a Gt with 2.5 too. I don't think it's too much to do with the drivetrain but rather driving method and weight of the vehicle. I mean do you really think two nearly identical or identical cars could vary by 25% in fuel consumption? Admittedly I drive mostly around Hamilton/Niagara where the freeway isn't always stop & go.

interesting, i always thought mine was a 50L tank. but on page 10-5 of the manual it says for the 2.0L it has a 55L tank and anything but the 2.0L has a 60L tank. and all this time i thought it was a 50L.

My best was 7.3 on a trip to the states. I was going pretty fast on the highway though (120-130ish). http://www.fuelly.com/driver/ptmfr/3-4

Yah I mean for a total trip. So about 300km and you fill up and track your mileage.. The best I've gotten so far was 7.5L/100km..

I never leave it that low, especially in the winter (condensation in the tank). All it takes is one traffic jam and you're screwed.

BTW, just filled up and last tank was 7.0L/100km! Oh yeah!!!

    Fuel tank 55L (GX/GS/GS-SKY); 60L (GT)

You generally have a 10L reserve meaning when your fuel light goes on that means you have about 10L of fuel left. So after the light goes on try not to drive more than 50 km or you will risk running out of gas.

We have a winner, Ultra94 ... was about $1.35 for regular when I filled up I just can't believe I put $86.00 into my car. If it hits $1.80 for premium by summer I'll be able to do $100 fill ups, oh joy.

its crazy how much this is going up. i saw at esso yesterday we pay the 13 % hst, 10 cents/L federal tax and 14.6 cents gas tax.. lol and i remember once they put HST together gas went up 10 centrs right away.. crazy to think if we didnt pay the gas tax or a federal tax and if gst and pst was still around gas could be around 1.04.. miss those days. i put 91 in my car ( do it every so often to give it a clean out ) and 94 in my gfs as i havent done it in ages. and it cost me $68 on her car and $70 on mine. hard to think thats what we will all be paying for regular soon..

A side note that I'm sure everyone here knows about already: Costco gas is reguarly 4-5 cents cheaper than the cheapest gas in Newmarket. You just need to swipe someone's membership card at the pump. They also have 91 octane for 5 cents more than 87. Currently 1.30 for 87, and 1.35 today for 91.

You still go further per fill-up though.
    But I see your point..

Electric isn't really there yet, we'll see what happens with Tesla's Signature series in 2013.

You want to know the real answer!? It will blow your minds..
Cities have been 'designed' for cars.
If you want to solve the whole oil/car transportation crisis. You need to DESIGN the city for people. Ya get me?

Kind of.. do you mean like Germany with their 'greening' of the downtown core?

I was under the impression we want to solve the crisis while still HAVING cars that are drivable and fun. Or am I missing something?
