Yesterday was a big day for my car. It has finally passed the 100,000 KM mark.

Also note the sweet mileage on one tank of gas. Pretty sure I could've gotten it to 500KMs easy. I just didn't want to run out of gas... again x3...

99% highway, very few cars. Kind of skeptical of the number due to the way each station's pump clicks off, as well as 4 - 5 other variables I can think of.

yeh of course.

these cars fluctuate like crazy. I got 620km to a tank once, and was hitting mid 500's consistently, then you go down to 375km on a tank....I always keep track in my head everytime I fill up. But that's just the way it goes...

Yeah, I'm neither stressing out over it nor am I trying to one-up anybody by doing highway fuel economy runs. I like to do these little experiments from time to time just to see if I can do it. 43+mpg is hard to swallow, though...

So. I HATE SWAS

Had 2 track days this weekend and used 1.5 tank of gas thanks to the beautifully engineered, awesome functioning SWAS crap.

SWAS was cutting boost like a mofo out of corners, not allowing me to use the whole track properly.

Time to get rid of it

Be careful or the car will end up in a wall. I would think twice about not using swas on a track day.

Lol I can drive the car properly, and know where my limits are. If my instructors thought i was going to end up in a wall i would not have been moved up into the "fast" group with the boss 302, new carerra, z06, etc.

They wouldent have let me drive it all out and have been telling me we can still go faster without the boost cut.

2 instructors noticed the SWAS was holding me back on exit, i had boost up on my AP and we were watching it cut boost when we needed it.

You cannot use all the track properly with swas on a gen2, it is garbage.

Myself and my instructors both FELT and SAW the car cutting boost when we needed it.

Cant deal with that for another 10+ track events this year.

Wire it up on a switch so you can turn it on and off whenever you want...job done.
