    Default 225/45R17 on 17x8 rims?

been doing a little research into tires and rims, and determined that 225/45R17 works out to be almost exactly the same diameter I was just wondering If they would still fit (width), if so what offset would the rims need to be to ensure they do fit

PS i do plan on lowering the car eventually no more then about 1.5" wanna make sure everythings gonna fit

Yup, I run 225/45R17 on my 17x8 rims, no issues. As far as offset goes, the offset of my Enkeis is 45mm. I'm dropped on Prokits.

i'm thinkin its the other way around all the numbers I saw gave more of a drop in the front, my inexperienced guess would be the weight of the engine

i got 17x8 TSW's with 225/45.17 dropped on pro-kit and i just got my Rear fenders rolled because well, it was rubbing on bumps, chipping off pieces of my tires. so id recommend a professionnal roll if i were you
