Thanks Wilson, got in on the group buy right now just for some Rally Armor. I did some rough math on my upgrades which made me had to wait a couple of pays cheques to start ordering parts. Thanks for all the help guys! Upgrading the fuel pump is gonna be my first purchase then I'm gonna work my way through my list. I figure the best way to do the work is to do it in stages so I'm not having to assemble and reassemble everything just for putting in a bunch of small things.

    Upgrade Order (Open to Suggestions):
    1. High Pressure Fuel Pump Internals
    2. AP Cobb
    3. Upgraded Turbo Intake
    4. SRI
    5. Winter Tires + Rims

My first season is gonna be fun lol... so much better than the Ford Windstar I used to drive lmao.

That's a good order. My suggestion would be to do SRI and TIP together to save some time and hassle.

edit: Or wait for the JBR one... that is gonna be awesome.

Curious about the JBR one. If it's like any of their previous products then I'm sure it will be awesome.

CorkSport is offering both SRI & TIP as a stage 2 set which comes up cheaper rather then buying both separate.

Ah, but here's the kicker, the JBR SRI includes the TIP as a one piece system and it's 3" in diameter, so with the correct coupler, you can even use it for BT.

Details are on msf, not sure if I quoted everything correctly thou.

I would add another item to that list... not a performance part but it's going to pay itself off with the time/effort you save in not cleaning the interior. Weathertech Digitalfit floormats (front set), buy it from Nextmod in Markham (also a sponsor for TM3).

If you have the funds, get this and the HPFP first, then sit back and watch as your carpets remain 100% pristine through all weather conditions. A dirty interior infuriates me, so it was a worthwhile purchase...

I can't believe everyone forgot the other important first stages mod .....the Rear Motor Mount!

pwdunmore, you should slot this in probably 1st (as it isn't too pricey) or 3rd, right after the AP. You have many choices on brand (JBR, SURE, CP-E) and stiffness, but if you intend to do some spirited driving/shifting while you are waiting to do the rest of your mods, this is pretty important. The factory mounts are extremely soft and during hard acceleration the engine tends to rock backwards and occasionally hit the firewall making quite the sound!! The upgraded mount eliminates this motion and also aids in traction under the same circumstances.

It's not hard to install and you will get help from all here, if and when you intend to do the install.

don't waste money on rally armours. if you must purchase mudflaps, there are far cheaper options out there.

Haven't been on RB's site in a while. Regardless, if OP hastens, he may still be able to get in on the JBR group buy (for 2nd gen mudflaps)...

If one shifts correctly the stocks are fine. Mine only wheel hops WOT when there's bumps on the road. One shouldn't be driving that hard anyhow in those conditions.

Really? Like really? The RMM is worth every penny and makes the car drive and feel and shift and respond so much better.

Sounds like another thing to add to my list lol... Thanks J_Logik I figure I will be buying the parts through June and July. Then do a mass install if I can, or stage the installations to make it less time consuming. What about the front engine mounts? they can just stay stock?

Going through a group buy to get the Rally Armor Mud flaps, price is good compared to anything from mazda. Especially for the look on a 2nd gen.

Well as Boyracer indicated the P(assenger) M(otor) M(ount) and the T(ransmission) MM can be added once you are upping the power on the car. When you're just getting started you don't need all 3.

You probably want to mod in stages, that way you can feel the effects of the various upgrades rather than all at once, but to each their own in that regard.

Seriously. Go with the JBR 88 duro motor mount kit. Its the best bang for the buck.
