    Question Ac condenser

    If i want to take out the old ac condenser and rad and put in new do i need to recharge or refill my ac before i can start the car again? Broke the rad n ac condenser and have the new ones in the boxes just want a idea of what ill need to do any help?

    I can't be sure. But you shouldn't need to recharge.

    If you think about it. If your AC system leaks you don't NEED to charge it. You just won't have AC.

    If the A/C condenser is broken... then you already don't have any freon in there (or very very little). You're going to have to go to a shop and get them to recharge your system. Not something you can do on your own.

    I had to replace an A/C condenser, hole from stone through it, took it to a shop to have the system evacuated and recharged. Once you open the system it has moisture in it so have to pull a low vacuum for a period of time to ensure moisture is removed.
