    yup, exact same
    if you want the same green non-FL22 coolant in the car, you can't buy it at canadian mazda dealers, only american ones... luckily, I did some research and found out that subaru's regular green coolant is the exact same stuff mazda used, so head down to subaru and buy a gallon and you're set!

    So for the 04-06 Mazda3s which didn't have FL22 prefilled from factory, they will have to continue to use the regular Mazda OEM coolant (gold bottle) for coolant drain/fill portion of this install.

    Is it worthwhile for 04-06 owners to get a complete flush and switch/refill with FL22?

    no, not worth it
    just go to subaru and buy their coolant if you're picky about the colour
    I heard it works better than that piss yellow mazda coolant anyway... I don't know because I've been using the subaru coolant in mine (I have a huge stash of them here )
