Well they have the momentum now but in a hostile environment.

I think it will go into overtime.

    Go Oilers!

This is going to be an amazing game!! Can\'t wait for this...
Edmonton played amazing last game, and Jussi stepped up.

By the way, anyone see the NBA game last night ?
Basically, what this game taught me is to get a great ballhandler like Wade and just let him run sporadically across the court looking for contact. lol

Oilers have a great chance of taking it all and being only the 2nd team in history to come back from being down 3-1. They do have all the momentum going into this final game... they have to continue to play hard and hit hard. Having Doug Weight out of the lineup helps their chances as well

It is good to see Jussi settling in and taking over.

And yeah the NBA game last night was pretty nuts. Wade is unbelievable... only a 3rd year player as well. I also could not believe at how sh1tty Miami\'s foulshooting was! I don;t like either team in the final, but I really don\'t like Mark Cuban.

    GO OILERS!

They\'re so close but I can\'t help getting this nagging feeling that it could all go wrong!

I hope they Oilers keep shooting Cam Ward gloveside!! He\'s been struggling with the his gloveside the last game, but yeah, it looks like the Oil have him solved!! Staal has struggled the entire playoffs, and hopefully Brind\'amour doesn\'t have a great game since I see him as the X-factor in Game7.

I\'m really excited about this game tonight.....but I\'m a bit nervous too. Not sure how Carolina is going to react to being spanked in game 6 like they were, and now that they\'re on home ice, who knows.

    GO OILERS!!!

they let the 4:0 victory get to their head and didn\'t come out strong enough vs the hungry canes.. when it was 2:0 i predicted 3:1 on empty net.. :p

they just didn\'t have it in them.. too sloppy.. didn\'t connect in terms of passing and the PP sucked.. 5 on 3 for almost 2 min!!! and they couldn\'t do anything.. sux.. they picked up their game but it was too little too late.. oh well.. another year the cup stays south of the 49th arc canes had a very good checking and forechecking game and then there\'s cam ward.. so what\'s next? bball? golf? soccer? shoot me now.. :p

they just didn\'t seem to give it their all. every time an oiler had the puck there would be 2 canes on him.

Carolina wanted it more. It was a great game though both teams had some good chances.

I think the Oilers just ran out of steam.

Yeah, the Oilers looked tired while the Canes looked hungry. Ah well, all things considered the Oilers did quite well and deserve a pat on the backs. Sucks that the Cup has been out of Canada for so long though

Hey from 8th seed in the regular season to Stanley Cup finals who would have thought they could get this far.

Not to mention losing their starting goalie!

You know that may have sealed their fate. He got them there and all of a sudden he\'s out of the playoffs. That would definately kill their momentum.

    Double Fark.

I had a bad feeling right after the first goal... it was unfortunately showing what was to come. The Canes were actually outhitting the Oilers!

Oh well... it was a wicked run.

Someone will bring the cup North next year... I hope.

As nice as that would be... they have a lot of work to do.

They have to re-tool that team big time. It is apparent from this season that they were not built for the new NHL.

My wife is not a huge hockey fan by any means (nor am I for that matter) but even she said that after watching these play-offs it was unbelievable at how crappy the Leafs were/are. The Leafs are slow, sloppy, and old compared to these teams.
