the mirrors are nice, if the LED isn't just a cap..I've seen the cap that sticks onto the original mirror with double sided tape for much less than that.

"OEM Mazda 3 Touch Screen In-Dash DVD"
How is this OEM??? Don't recall seeing this in any Mazda catalogue.

The prices are listed on the site Mazdaspeed posted (first post).
This unit is $530 (I have no idea what currency and if it includes shipping - I'm sure it says some where on the site if you're really interested).

Description says...doesn't say anything about GPS/Navi. Maybe it can be purchased separately and hooked up to the screen?
OEM Mazda 3 Touch Screen In-Dash DVD $530.00

    - OEM Mazda Touch Screen DVD Player
    - Touch Screen
    - Single DVD Player
    - Auto-Sliding
    - Supports DVD / VCD / MP3 / CD
    - Multi-Language
    - Anti-Shock
    - Comes with wiring & manual
    - Mazda logo boot up screen (<- I guess that's why they call it OEM - although I don't think it's genuine Mazda OEM part...or is it??)
    - Compatible with the steering wheel control (<- that's a good thing)
    - Double-DIN in the picture is available as an option

    It looks good, but ..

    1. I don't like the fact that its framed in grey.. doesn't look all that great in the entirely black dash (I'd prefer if its all black)
    2. Do you loose functionality of clock etc
    3. does it have gps or any inputs for other signals

I like that mirror. Just a bit of flash, and useful at the same time.

Devin's is larger. This one is 6.5 and the plastic looks to be a different colour.

The way this one flips out means that it gives you a little overhang to prevent sun shining from the top but it also looks really bad.

^^ Yep. Devin's is pretty much an exact replica of the Mazda OEM Nav screen. This one looks "inspired" by Mazda OEM but not the same.
The Mazda OEM (including Devin's) has a motorized screen so you can also control the angle of the screen (I think there are 3 presets) to help prevent glare.

I assume no one knows anything much about the screen.

I think it looks great but would it be possible to get it framed in the same black plastic as the interior as opposed to that awful grey (how much would that cost?).

And does it interfer with the clock screen?

I would assume they are, the replacements are for the back part (the colour matched part).

The bottom and the glass IMO stays as is.. and it is the glass that is heated.

    Someone else got any ideas.

Hi, all, thanks for your interest on our products. To answer some of your questions:
    1) The mirrors shouldn't be that hard to install, however, we suggest that it's the best if you can bring it to a local shop because it does require taking some parts of the panels off. And then you'll have to splice into the side markers and run wires from there to the door. If you do it yourself it might look ghetto at the door because it does takes a bit of effort to run wires through the original rubber tube by the door hinge. I'm not too sure about the heated part but I'll contact my supplier about it. Worst case scenario is to take the original heated parts and swap them.

    2) Those touch screen dvds are discontinued for now due to supplier problem. Might or might not come back in the future.

That flip up screen is our best seller right now, probably because of its cost and it can be hidden to avoid theft problem. I'm not trying to advertise here but since it's been asked, I might as well answer.

    Have a nice day.

I am interested in the folding mirrors. Are they tinted blue ? And....do they also have the same heated mirror feature that the Canadian M3's have?

    Thanks.
