Event overview

An attempt to set a Guinness World Record with 800 Mazda's participating in a parade lap and photo shoot. At the same time, we will raise money For Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre. 

Goal

To raise $20,000 for Hearth Place, and set a Guiness Record

How will we reach our goal?

Each attending vehicle will donate a minimum of $20 to participate. Mazda Canada will also be making a large donation. Additionally, we will be holding a raffle for various prizes donated by our sponsors. Each attendee will receive one raffle ticket in their promotional bag. Additional tickets will be sold for $5 each, or three tickets for $10. There will be over $2,000 in raffle prizes.

Schedule

6:15 AM - 7:00 AM - Participants arrive at Oshawa Airport

7:00AM - 7:40 AM - Gate opened and pre-assemble begins. Participants handed promotional bags, assigned car & group numbers, and are briefed on logistics

7:40AM - 8:00 AM - Participants move to cars, and are ready for parade lap

8:05 AM - Parade Lap begins

10:30 AM - All vehicles parked in final positions, and drivers exit vehicles

10:40 AM - Aerial photography of completed design begins

11:00 AM - Ground photography & Boom truck photography 

11:30 AM - All participants to be at main stage for Awards Ceremony and grand prize draw

12:30 PM - Participants escorted off runway and out of airport.
