Before anyone says I need to post under a separate, existing thread (yes, that means you majic. And Fanghead too as he seems to have taken up the cause), you can fack off. :D
What a wonderful set of rubber. Purchased for my Mazda6 in 215-60-16 for $670 (tires only) and mounted to some 16\" Mazeda OEM alloys (got them from a wrecker for $230). I suspect the lower profile size for Mz3s might be $40 to $60 more for the set.
Anyways, these puppies are smoooooooooooth on the dry. I think they are better than the stock Michelins (don\'t remember what they are). At 140km/h, they are rock steady. I recall going 120km/hr in the Miata with Nokians, and the tires were loud and the ride was \"squirmy\".
Up in the Pole where I live, there\'s a layer of ice patches and a dusting of snow (half inch?) on the ground. Lots of grip.
These are much quieter than the set of X-Ice I have on the SUV. The set of Winter Duelers (Blizzaks for SUVs) on the old SUV was the best set of winters I ever had.
Sold the car before I could do a long term test, but those things cut through snow like a hot knife thru butta.
All in all, the Dunlops have the best noise level and ride so far (hands down). Can\'t wait for a snowstorm to really test these puppies out.
So, those are the rambling thoughts of a senile, old man.
