ok, so today ***sad ;(*** I scraped my new 2010 car on a curb.
Story:
I went to work today and parked in one of my careful spots. usually away from others or with one side of my car to some curb so only 1 person can park beside me. After I parked I decided to move my car to another spot because I thought the lawn guys were comming and I would end up with dried grass on my car.... that is when it happend , I was to close to the curb and as I turned out of the spot I heard a loud scraping sound.... omy my heart sank into my stomach. once I got to my other spot , I slowly walked to the passanger side where I heard the scraping sound. I looked and I looked and saw no scrap "?". then I looked under the car an saw I had just scraped a piece about 5 inched long on a metal piece of the car. I knew no one would see it but I knew It need to be fixed because it was now bare metal.
I called gyro mazda and spoke with them. they said bring your car in (no appointment needed.) They looked at it and said it was minor and nothing else was wrong except for the scrape. They took it in as soon as I got there . The first gentlman looked at it and said he would get the service manger to look at it. the service manager looked at it and said he would paint it. Within 5 minutes of having my car in the shop the car was back to normal... just a gram lighter (due to metal loss...lol)
Derrick the serice manger gave back my keys and said your done. I said I should go and pay for this. He just shook his head and said that it was fine. I was completly surprized and greatful for how curtious and fast these guys are. I proceed to shake Derricks hand and said thank you.
Story 2
When I went to pick up my new car there was a paint issue on the passanger side door. It was under the clear coat. it looked like a rag had touched the door while the paint was drying or something. It was not horrendous but visible enough. the dealership (Gyro Mazda )right away said they would get me another car. No questions asked. So I walked away without my "Roamer". it also had a small scratch near the roof as well as a little paint gouge on the hood near the rim
Gyro mazda had my new car for me by the next week. The sales rep Paul worked hard to get me another car becasue they didn't have my style of car on the lot. he secured it from a new shippment comming in.
So far my experience with Gyro mazda has been nothing outstanding.
Kudos to Gyro.... keep up the good work!!!!
