I kept forgetting to set my lineup. Especially after you make a roster move. Playoffs, I've been diligent about setting it for the week, even after I make a change.

I thought AD would take me to the promised land...not anymore. My team had tons of rest last week and ready to go against you. Plus I got Jae Crowder cheering against you after dropping him like he's nothing lol.

Crowder is likely done until after our playoffs are over. That's why I decided to drop him. My IR was already taken by Bosh, who I hope returns before our playoffs are done. I think Crowder was the most underrated pick this year, as I got him from the waivers mid way through the season

Yea. one of the best waiver picks for sure this year. I'll keep him in my IR because no need to keep Davis and Parsons...losing BOTH is a big blow to my team.

I'm hurting as well, though not to the same extent. Faried missed games earlier in the week, before being put on IR, then Williams, and Noel missing games.

I've had this issue for a few years. Had the debate with myself when creating this years league as well. If most people are down, we can surely make that happen. But the way I looked at it was....sure it sucks, but it adds another level of complications you have to deal with. Makes it more strategic. For example, my decision to drop someone like Duncan....throughout the seasons he was a solid/consistent double-double type machine for me...but then towards the end when he's being rested, do I drop him and risk someone else picking him up and him having a big game, or do I stick with him, etc etc. Just adds that extra thing you gotta roll the dice on.

As per the topic of adjusting the schedule, I'm fine with what we have right now because stuff happens and it makes more things interesting. You have to strategize a bit harder and be riskier. But I'm not opposed to having playoffs earlier too, like a week or two earlier. We had the IR this year for a change and that was fun.

so teams in the first round that go 7 games get a lot of value, rather than just picking g state and cavs all the time.

Yea never played any playoff fantasy leagues before but I know people doing hockey playoff leagues. Same as yours but there's no multiplier so hope that your players make it far. Do you have enough people? Free league? Curious.

Imagine picking players from 7th and 8th seed teams and they go all the way to the Finals :p

Was actually thinking of this a few days ago but stuffs been a bit too hectic for me recently. Good to see there's still interest. I'll be putting something together in the next week or so. Will be very similar, if not the same, as last year. If you have any strong preferences from now that you'd like changed from last year, post it up and let's see what everyone has to say. It's late now, but ideally hoping we can get people signed up in the next couple days and we can try a draft Monday evening before the season opener. It's just Yahoo being Yahoo, unfortunately. I'm sure most others will get this as well, so please follow the bellow steps guys:

After this crazy year we've had, I want to attempt to put some normalcy back into it for the upcoming NBA season. After not having done it last year, I'm ready to get back into it. Who's in?

Draft: Sunday, Dec 13, 8PM EST

League Settings: Mostly carry-over from the last time we did this, with the exception of some categories that Yahoo has changed the options for selecting. Looks like %'s aren't available anymore, so I can't include those like before. However there's now categories available for double-doubles and triple-doubles, and you can change the weighting for each. I'm thinking of spicing things up and throwing in a points category for triple-doubles and have it weigh twice as much as the rest of the categories - thoughts? I'm also tempted to try another new thing, and instead of a category for just total rebounds like we always do, do one for defensive rebounds and one for offensive rebounds that would be scored as double the weight - thoughts? I've included these changes below for now, but if majority are against it, I will revert back to what we had before.
