TM3 Presents - Heart For Hearth on the Runway- AKA 300 Car Epic picture - 9/23/2012
On September 23, 2012 Torontomazda3 is putting on our largest event ever. The event is titled Torontomazda3 Presents: Heart for Hearth on the Runway, 300 Mazda's on the Runway in Support of Hearth Place. Our event will be held in conjunction with the 5K On The Runway to support Hearth Place.
For this event TM3 will be hosting 300 Mazda 3/Mazdaspeed 3 's on a runway at the Oshawa Municipal airport for a charity fundraising photo shoot to support Hearth Place. Hearth Place is an Oshawa area cancer support centre where cancer patients, and their families can come share their experiences, find resources, and discover new ways to care for themselves and each other.
Torontomazda3's goal is to raise $10,000 for Hearth Place. To achieve this goal, each attending car will pay a $15 registration fee. As well Mazda Canada has agreed to match $4,000 in member donations.
As an additional fundraiser, we will have a raffle for prizes donated by our sponsors. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event.

Questions
Where and when is the event taking place ?
Oshawa Municipal Airport - 1200 Airport Boulevard, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 8P5
8am - 12:30pm

Do I need to pre-register ?
Yes! If you are not pre-registered you will not be allowed to participate.
Do I need to pre-pay
Yes! The event today will be extremely busy, and will be very difficult to accept payments at the event.
Why is registration at the event not permitted ?
We are ordering tshirts for all participants to mark the event, and need accurate information to submit the order. As well, we need to adjust the spacing of our parking pattern based on the precise number of vehicles.
Why do you need my license plate number ?
To ensure only registered vehicles attend. As well to assign vehicles to specific groups and group leaders
What if I do not want to or can not pay via PayPal ?
Payment can also be made to Jeff Holley at Mazda of Toronto. Please only leave payment with Jeff. He will also give you a confirmation. You may also email heartforhearth@torontomazda3.ca or if you are a TM3 user you can pm S.F.W. , and alternate payment arrangements can be made
When does registration close ?
Thursday September 13th is the final day to register
What if I want to donate more than $15 ?
Every dollar helps. You can send additional donations to payment@torontomazda3.ca via PayPal or EMT

Attendees will be fed!! There will be a BBQ hosted by enbridge, and all attendees of Heart For Hearth will receive food/drink tickets.

Bridgestone Racing Academy is located at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Following an introductory briefing, you will be issued your personal racing gear and you're off to pit lane and our outstanding fleet of NEW Van Diemen Formula cars. These purpose-built single seaters are very responsive with an incredible power-to-weight ratio. The warm-up lapping session becomes the exciting topic of conversation during your complimentary snack time. Drivers then return to the track for three full 20-minute lapping sessions at even higher speeds than the two-session version. This is our "First Timer" three session introductory course! Come live the dream!

Why are people not registering ?
230+ people have said they want to participate, and we are struggling to reach 100 registrations.
I have pm'd everyone on the interest list that has not registered.
Was I wrong to say TM3 could pull this off ?

I hope you were not wrong.
I have been going door to door with the flyers (mz3/ms3 owners) trying to recruit interested people, but you would think that the people who signed up prior to this being official would come through as they are the reason of incentive for tm3 to put this together.. Cmon everyone, Great club, Great cause!!
