Okay, your gonna have to post a pic of your odometer on this one! If your really at that mileage, I definately think your the winner here lol...and it deserves a photo spot! Thats really awesome though...Just hope my 3 can last that long.

130,171 as of today. Less than 30,000 kms before I'm out of warranty. =(

Hit 161,000 today. Second owner from 131,000 on.

I'm at 133,800 with my 06. Bought it last August with 98,800 :(

2007 Mazda 3 sedan 5speed (2.0 litre), 127,000km.

Rear Struts, Power steering pump, Engine Mount, Otherwise Runs like a top. I'm the Original owner.

40,100 km now on my 2010. Sigh...car's getting old.

2011 mazda 3 sport with 18,000 kms..

How does one find out that the engine mount is about to go? If it goes, does the engine blow up or seize? Just worried since alot of mazda 3's have blown engines. Maybe the 2011 models have been improved?

Haha, your engine will not blow up or seize, you will get alot of vibrations though.

99% of blown Mazda3 engines is due to oil starvation, most of the time people don't keep an eye on the oil level + Mazda's 8000km oil changes on regular oil isn't a good idea, I'd do at MAX 5-6K for optimal performance/reliability.

Not sure why Mazda would recommend 8000km intervals if it weren't safe. Typically manufacturers are conservative over liberal with their recommendations. I'd assume that Mazda decided that 8000km was a "safe" interval and that it's probably ACTUALLY capable of going longer without issues. I see absolutely no benefit to Mazda overstating the interval.

I believe the oil starvation is due to the balance shaft hanging under the 3rd cylinder.

Tell that to people who have a spun bearing(s)
