I did an online quote first they were cheaper so i called the next day and got inurance..and it was actulay abit cheaper then what i was quoted online..I called the direct..i did not deal with any broker

How old are you? I called johnson because my school has an alumni deal with them, but they said to go with another company until I was 25... Strange of them.

I think aristeidis is 29, I e-mailed johnson or told them to contact me yesterday but I haven't heard anything yet.

I had a careless driving charge originally and it got bumped down to a minor offence (failure to merge into left lane to avoid a collision) and BelAir hasn't done anything to my premium.

my insurance premium per month was 127.00 on a 2004 mazda 3 sedan, i just switched over to a 2010 mazda 3 hatch and my insurance is 153.00 a month now:bang:bang:bang:bang:bang:headbang

I was paying $245/mth for my Sport GT with TD - bunch of CROOKS. I switched to Wawanesa and am paying $190/mth with at the time 3 speeding tickets (all from 2.5 years ago) 1 has dropped off already, and the other 2 drop off my record in a couple of months, so hopefully when my renewal comes up they'll drop it a LOT more. YAY.

I'm also a 25/yr old female. No accidents or claims. *KNOCKS ON WOOD* and first time ever having insurance on my own really.

I pay $152/month with Caa insurance, 28 years old in Richmond Hill only one speeding ticket and no accidents with 500 deds for both and 2 million liability

I just swtiched from wawanesa to johnson

When my renewal papers came in last month it never went down nor did it go up..so i called other brkers to see...i got quoted from my company that i'm with for $1300..yet my new policy was $1500..:bang.so i swtiched to johnson and i pay $1991:)

I'm $202/mth with TD. 2 speeding tickets, 2 mill liability, fire and theft and collision. Deductibles are high though, 1k.

includes a House and insurance on a 2008.5 MS3,
1 speeding ticket,
3 accidents, (1 my fault, 2 other drivers fault)

wait... i'm confused. your renewal was for $1500? U got a quote from the company you're with for $1300, but you switched to johnson for $1991? do you like paying more? Why didn't you ask Wawanesa why they were charging you $1500 when with a new quote it was $1300??

I Paid $3246 for my new car

When i asked my broker why he told if i want i can swtich to the other broker who gave me the cheaper quote but he said that wawanesa WILL charge me that $1500 cause they all ready have a policy with me:bang

that's retarded that you get quoted a lower price and they won't charge you that much. Well you found something MUCH better so you're happy.

It's funny how insurance work. You could have a perfect record, be of no liability regarding age and whatever else they use against you and you could pay through the roof, whereas the next guy that gets a quote has speeding tickets, some accidents and pays $1500 less.

I dunno, just find it mindboggling.

The spouse and I pay just under 250.00 per month for:

2 x 2008 Mazda 3 GS
1 x house insurance

We are through 'The Personal' as a group with her employer.

I don't live in or around Toronto (Hull, QC), but I find that's a lot for a 2004 Mazda. I pay $75 a month. (40, male, 1 accident, maybe 5 tickets.)

I was quoted $1,500 for an '06 white hatch when I was about to purchase one and it got swooped up by another buyer.

I've been driving since 1998. No accidents and this was Belair Direct, the cheapest I could find. I've always been under my parents insurance until now - living in a different province and (soon to be) owning my first car. So maybe that's why it's a tad high.
