Is Belair reliable? I'm looking to finally be principle driver on my 3 and my broker told me $4100 for the year. I guess it's cause I'm 21

She said Belair sales direct and they don't deal with them

I did an online quote first they were cheaper so i called the next day and got inurance..and it was actulay abit cheaper then what i was quoted online..I called the direct..i did not deal with any broker

How old are you? I called johnson because my school has an alumni deal with them, but they said to go with another company until I was 25... Strange of them.

IT depneds if your speeding ticket is minor or major

When i got a quote from belair i have one minor speeding ticket on my record (43 over the limit) and it made no differnce if i had one or no ticket..so as long as you only have 1 ticket and it's minor then it shouldn't be anymore

I had a careless driving charge originally and it got bumped down to a minor offence (failure to merge into left lane to avoid a collision) and BelAir hasn't done anything to my premium.

I switched to Wawanesa and am paying $190/mth with at the time 3 speeding tickets (all from 2.5 years ago) 1 has dropped off already, and the other 2 drop off my record in a couple of months, so hopefully when my renewal comes up they'll drop it a LOT more. YAY.

I'm also a 25/yr old female. No accidents or claims. *KNOCKS ON WOOD* and first time ever having insurance on my own really.

When my renewal papers came in last month it never went down nor did it go up..so i called other brkers to see...i got quoted from my company that i'm with for $1300..yet my new policy was $1500...so i swtiched to johnson and i pay $1991

When i asked my broker why he told if i want i can swtich to the other broker who gave me the cheaper quote but he said that wawanesa WILL charge me that $1500 cause they all ready have a policy with me

It's funny how insurance work. You could have a perfect record, be of no liability regarding age and whatever else they use against you and you could pay through the roof, whereas the next guy that gets a quote has speeding tickets, some accidents and pays $1500 less.

I dunno, just find it mindboggling.
