I am in a similar situation. And they expect to jack your rates up right when you get convicted as well.

I've just switched over to AXA this afternoon and guess what, I've knocked off almost 600$ off my insurance!!!:headbang

Also, my protections are better: 2M$ civil liability and 0$ deductible whatsoever! :D Now, I'm only paying 55$ a month instead of 101.50$ when I was with Belair Direct. (ouch!)

My '08 GT sedan is a hair under $100 a month, with another vehicle on the same policy. My daily commute is 0 km also.

iv got an 05 mazda 3 hatch. my payments started at 200/month 2 years ago and they will be at 170/month now. this is full coverage. no tickets or accidents on record. and i'll b 21 in 2 weeks.

just a question... what insurance company are you on? and why are you paying that much? your insurance knows your car is modded? or you have tickets/claims etc....?

im paying that much because im an 18 year old male.. with a clean record... and a stock car...

I just got my G licence last March and they said my rate will go down this October...

I have a 2yr. Old daughter and my insurance company doesnt know about that...alot of my friends have been telling me that if i tell my insurance that you have a kid your rate will go down?

But i recently called my insurance..they said it doesnt matter if you have a kid or not..as long as your not 25+ it will not go down..

I guess thats true?
