I'm picking up my 2007 mazda3 hatch tomorrow, and I was thinking about taking the from emblem off.
Does anyone have any pics of what it looks like?
and how do you think putting Holden (car company from australia) emblems on?
im a little home sick, and would be cool to be driving around and knowing only i have them haha

Anyone can do whatever they choose to do to their vehicles. Everyone has different taste, and to be honest that's a good thing or we'd all be driving around with the exact same cars. Lame. If suggestions are what you want, personally I'd say not to do it simply because a lot of people have negative things to say about doing that sort of thing and it'd save a lot of headaches. But if you could care less about if people like it or not, feel free man.

I say represent home in a different fashion. Flag it up or something :). My personal opinion is an emblem should only be on its appropriate car. You put on this emblem and people will think your trying to LOOK faster, pretend you have a better car, or you just don't know cars. Thus you wouldnt hear the end of it for a long time. Its out of the ordinary to put on a different brand emblem. People have done weirder things though.
That said do what you want, find it, buy it, play around with it and you'll figure out how it will work for you.
Funny story...I was driving home from work the other day and I saw a "GTI" behind me in my rearview mirror (badge was on the front, as usual)...shortly before i got home, he turned off and I happened to glance in the rearview again and what do I see? A sedan! Dude put a GTI badge on his jetta...smhQuote:

I think re-badging is the worst thing you could do. I think it'd be cooler to get a custom multi-tone horn that'll play 'Waltzing Matilda' than putting GM badges on a (if your car is Gen. 1, partially) Ford. Would you show up to watch Bathurst with Holden badges slapped all over a Ford Falcon? You'd get effing lynched, and you and I both know it.
lol dude, really? sorta ricey idea no offense, same as putting an amg badge on a mazda. talked about this b4at a meet, doesnt make sense. my friend is putting a ford symbol on his kia rio, because hes doing it as a joke, unless u want it to be a joke. imo, bottom line, its ur car, but the majority of tm3ers will dislike this fo sure.
I could see it if you had a Pontiac G8 or GTO but slapping a GM badge on a Mazda is just going to result in a lot of people making fun of you.
When I was buying my 3 I nearly bought a Saturn Astra (which I would have slapped Vauxhall badges on). Since Mazda and Holden are totally unrelated and pretty much the antithesis of each other (Holden is all about power and a lot of their cars are RWD) it would look silly.
