    Default Metal Coaters (Powdercoating Rims)

So I just got my rims powdercoated today in a Gunmetal matte finish type by Metal Coaters. The reason I went to get mine powder coated was curb rash on one of them, otherwise, I would have stuck wtih the stock silver look on my OZ rims. Now Phillie86 did the first job and thought I'd bite and go try this guy out. (Here is his thread on his Glossy Black MS6 rims: http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/sh...&highlight=ms6). As for my rims:

Also got him to do my pedals.

I was skeptical about when Taj showed me the sample but he assured me this was the best gunmetal he had (he has gloddy types too if matte is not your type). I can't wait until the spring time to put these on! I thanked him and paid $200 Dollars to get them done and he also threw in the pedals as an incentive. Please note he requires a minimum order of $125 for anything so if its a specific item, please call and ask/inquire. Regardless after payment, it was a trip straight to Simply Tire and Lou managed to find this:

I perhaps believe it is my fault as it might have chipped during transporation as I have a hatch and the plastic trunk cover must have braised it from the metal parts while driving on the highway. I will talk to Taj about perhaps recoating it next year since it can't be touched up now but he suggested I go to crappy tire and get "gunmetal" touch up paint to fix it (anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this / get the so called touch up paint?) Regardless, here are them mounted on my wheels:

I can't wait until the spring time to put these on!! For his workmanship, I will have to see come spring time but you can't pass up a better deal than this (No offense to Quy of course). Just as Phillie said, I would bring your rims to him if you are looking at a budget / want something different. Let me know if you have any questions!
