I've done mostly cosmetic with OSIR front fog covers, painted body match paint. They now have projector fogs installed, along with a Euro switch in the cabin which allows me to disable the DRLs in parking light setting. I've also got a new boost gauge to help me keep track of boost (peak 22psi to date ). I've also gone with something a little different from most Mk5s and done custom mounted splitters on the front. They are for a 1st Gen TT. They are OSIR full carbon parts. Oh and a mandatory sticker set on rear window . Other than that the motor and the rest are par from the last update. I'm looking into a high pressure fuel pump from APR and I intend to get a new shift knob from the GF for christmas! I'm also budgeting for custom leather interior and monitor headrest, but these will be farther down the road. First priority is new summer tires. Burned through me 452s in just one season ...not happy. Enjoy the pics....

219.5 at the wheels. Figuring 15% driveline losses that's 258 at the engine. An increase of 58 over stock.

You better not be doing burnouts in the Duke/Ontario parking garage once the new floor coating is complete

You'll ruin it! That's one of our projects! And I know all the city of Kitchener guys to call...

Just kidding I wouldn't call them, but please don't ruin the floor coating in the rest of the garage

The chhhhh sssss is now a pssssss sound. lol.

I had to change the diverter valve as the OEM revision is more durable. My original valve is a rubber membrane which is known to tear under higher pressures and I was starting the throw codes. So in the last week I moved to a newer revision which is a piston style.

Another update is my plastidip project. I plan on redoing the whole car at this point. I thought about matte grey with green accents, but I might just go a soft matte baby blue. Here is my temporary work to see how it would look. It's back to stock now and doesn't look like this anymore.

Oh yea, you can now see the project fog setup

At this point I'm looking for a High Pressure Fuel Pump as I'm getting a lot of fuel cuts which is putting rain on my power parade. It's a darn $1000 part which is annoying. I'm also looking at a front brake setup from a boxter.

Lot's to do before summer comes. Thought I'd share how it's all going.

So no pictures for this post. Just some mechanical updates.

Upgraded the High Pressure Fuel Pump, KMD internals now producing more pressure. Upgraded to Audi R8 CoilPacks and some new bosch spark plugs to match.

Software was now upgraded to match the fuel pump. Peak gains probably didn't change (maybe the torque) but the low mid range is now spanking!

Dyno in the summer at some point

The latest iteration of the car.... picked up a GTI grill to reduce the green dominance on the front.

Power wise, I'm now Stage 2+ fully with a KMD High Pressure Fuel Pump. Very happy with the performance. Numbers on the website say 280hp crank and 330tq from APR but I'll wait until I get onto a dyno again.

    hope you like...
