The car is fully covered. I mean fully covered from lightning to hail to even a squirrel attacks. It ate through two of the MAF wiring sensor wires close to the harness. So it looks like it will cost around $500 for them to replace the wires and do the service ect. It will also help later on for warranty issues as well. I'm thinking it might be time to trade the car (gf can't drive stick regardless) and the BRZ looks like fun. I don't want to run into issues later on if things happen and then it leads to this issue which is non-warrant and then it won't be covered.

You'll survive bro. Maybe you should consider something cheaper to drive until you graduate from school.

My theory, if gf can't drive stick, teach. If can't learn then forget about it. She can take the bus or you'll just have to drive her around a lot.![]()

If she can't learn or refuses to that is a red flag already... lol. My g/f learned in a day so I was impressed... obivously not a pro on day 1 but she was smoother than expected (bazinga!)... lol
I hear you all. She tries her hardest but you know, some people just can't do it. She stalls when people get to close because she gets nervous, she stalls when it goes back on a slight hill because she doesn't know when to release and gas to go ahead. Oh well, we paid just under 600$ for the repairs, lucky that Scarborough Mazda gave us AWESOME service, covered tons of stuff and even helped out in reducing pricing or just fully covered the costs.

Speed3 gets the best reaction when parked in the "family with small child" parking stalls

Hey guys so finally bought the internals, cobb ap, cp-e sri,tip and forge bpv v1. Gonna get them installed in a couple of weeks. Would it be safe to run these mods on stock tune? Im planning to get a tune by our very own mspeed guys but it will be a month before i can find time for it. Plus i dont really trust the ots stage 1 maps on the cobb site. Any advise will be great thanks.

ur best option if u don't wanna spend more money is to get the ots maps....

I guess i worded that wrong. What i meant was that im not comfortable using the ots maps on the cobb site and that ill be more comfortable with a custom tune from mspeed that will suit my needs. I know i still have a long way to go iin terms reading and stuff. Just thought id ask this question here. I apologize if this question has been raised already.
