Last time I checked (a couple of weeks ago). The GT had Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires and the GS had Yokohama avid s34 tires.

I'm definitely getting new summers, I'm not a fan of how the Dunlops handle in turns. The Falken 912's I had on my '04 Mazda3 were much better.

I was in a similar position last year. I bought my car right before winter. Figured I'd get summer rubber/rims and use the stock tires/wheels for two winters and eventually mount dedicated winters on them. Can't afford three sets of wheels

I just saw a White hatch in the wild this morning. First thing I noticed was the plate position was retarded. Then I realized it wasn't a Mazda6. It looks sharp, Other than the plate. Its like... having a huge buck tooth sticking out on a super model. Luckily I was in front of it for a while - I think a downward positioned tow-hook mounted plate relocation would fit perfectly :-D

2nd generation suffers from the same indignity.

Not had time to take a Mazda3 2.0L out for test drive.

This is the next best thing to hear interior noise and get a feel for performance (a virtual test drive) of a Grand Touring 2.0L.

    The video speaks for itself.

Would love to see what the new PMM looks like. Can anyone take a pic of the engine bay and PMM and post? Thanks!

Probably a stupid question, but when I was at a dealership 2014's seem to sit very high - the gap between the wheel wells and the tire is much bigger than on my (not lowered 05). Did coils/springs compress over the years is that why?

yup... all the 3s came with hideous wheel gaps
why bother with big stock wheels when there's still a big wheel gap? I just don't get it!

Sorry if this has been posted...

But has anyone else seen this free Virtual Mazda3 app for iPhone & iPad?

    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/virt...695879761?mt=8

It uses an augmented reality type system to place a fully modeled 2014 Mazda3 sedan or hatch right in front of you that you can walk around. You can pick colors too.

There's also some mode that lets you turn your current Mazda3 into a 2014 model.

I can only confirm my own experience.
Picked up a 2014 Mazda3 Sport GS Moonroof+Convenience pkg + Navigation last Saturday.
Navigation SD card works in my GS car.

I haven't personally installed the SD card. Everything was done by the dealership before the delivery.
So I cannot 100% confirm that "we only need an SD card". But my understanding from talking to the dealer is that's all there is to it.
Navigation SD card is an accessory that can be purchased/added to a GS; same as all-weather floor mats or any other accessory.
(Maybe just need to properly initialize the software by entering some code or something.)

    Hope this helps.

It is just a card, however it needs to be enabled..

$425 is the MSRP on it.

No they do not fit. Mazda has a new steel wheel for the '14.

that confirms my suspicions... the car has the GPS antenna built in and it just needs the card and setting change to enable the function by the dealer's scan tool

What are the chances it would be the same scenario for radar cruise control?
