Just buy an ap...set the boost to 30 psi. Set your timing to 30 degrees at redline. Go for a rip. Tow your car home and stick candles in the hole in your block. Problem solved

LMAO...angry much?
Block heater is definitely not needed down here.

- 2016 Lexus NX200t F Sport -
- 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 Black Mica - SOLD -

LOL...even in Alberta my parents dont have a block heater and they park their cars outside. Definitely not needed in ON

If I were driving a built(forged) engine in the winter I would get a block heater as precaution.
Cold starts are tough on an engines as and with clearances changing with a built(forged) engine why would you risk something by making the oil viscous in the sub freezing temperatures.
No one normally needs a block heater with the mild winters we normally have but climate changes. You're ignorant to think it wouldn't help your engine and if you have the ability to install it yourself it's worth the investment. I park in a garage so I don't need one but if I have a forged engine and was parking outside I would install one.
Bunch of damn sheep around here...

you also need somewhere to plug in your block heater

Outdoor extension cord, electricity works through one of those right?

I'm talking about parking at his house...

You sounded like you didn't know what to plug the block heater into to get it power. Plus I am tired of you guys poking at mikey and clearly you have nothing constructive to add but if it's anyone else it's a completely different story. I don't expect people to know what I do and I don't expect to know everything you do...
Why don't you turn up the boost and timing on your BT and blow your stock bottom end so you can rebuild it, that would solve your problem right?

Nope it won't solve my problem
But of course I know that

I'm surprised @MajesticBlueNTO is still around?

Grumps lol can't we all just get along ?![]()

Haha
Anyway good news is my car is fine

Care to elaborate on what was wrong?

Getting sent around everywhere on last notice sucks... but that's part of the job so I understand that. It's downsizing lately I feel like I am looking over my shoulder all the time.
Compared to last year my company has roughly 700 less people working for them.
I don't want to release details for obvious reasons... but Fack_dude is right though, I think it's time for a change.
It's sad when you look forward to the drive in my car, to and from work, way more than being their. I used to like it a lot more but things change.

sorry
Oh damn, that sucks. Oh well, I stopped reading the Speed section because according to certain people only speed owners are allowed to even look at that section.

Apparently the alternator wasn't able to charge the battery enough. Alternator was tested and is fine.
Car was compared to Fack_Dude' s car and seems normal

So nothing was wrong? That's ... odd...
