I'm curious to know what Egyptshun's comment was before edit.

Okay, mybad. Didn't know that wasn't allowed.
Anyways, what the nicest sounding thing I can put on my Mz3?

This is the mazdaspeed section
You have mazdaspeed3 or speed6.
oh shoot... *Walks away*

lol

Does anybody know of rear sway bar bracket alternatives? The passenger-side RSB bracket on my JBR rear sway bar broke. Looking for solid ****ing steel, so it won't ****ing break again.
I know I can return it for a warranty replacement, but I know it will happen again. Has anybody experienced sway bar brackets breaking on their sway bars? Not just JBR... any brand.

I've seen far more stripped out bolts than I have broken RSB brackets (which is none). Ultimately there shouldn't be that much load on those brackets, the main force on the bar is a rotational force.
What brand does JBR use? Corksport ships Energy ones.

Cheap enough to just order a set to try...

Not covered under warranty. Jamie said becuase it broke from rust their is no warranty. Same exact thing happened to me. Same bracket, same side. Also looking for a replacement. Could just order from JBR, but I prefer an alternative.
Paying the $20 plus shipping isn't going to break me, but seems a lot of people having the same failure.
@Fobio thoughts ?
2010 Black Mazdaspeed 3 - Lightly modded

have that bar sitting waiting for install...any ideas how to stop the rust? @fywdyl let me know if the rust pray worked

I'm a couple years on mine without rust problems per say, this should be winter #3 they've gone through. You can hit them with fluid film every few months to slow the rust down. Also a good grease will help displace water on the inside (grease between bushing and bracket). Maybe try the energy ones? Also corksport sent me new collars because mine rusted, no questions asked (they weren't broken yet). I wouldn't expect a sway bar bracket to go that quickly, I'd think it should be covered rust or not as it takes more than a winter to rust through something like that.

All should of bought Cobb![]()

You all should of bought the progressive rear sway bar. I've had mine on for 5 yrs now and never replaced any bushings.

I'm 3 winters on my corksport RSB...the collars could have survived, but I didn't want them to seize up so I asked what I should do and they just sent me new ones lol

All I know is that the driver side bracket broke some time in May of last year, replaced under warranty. Now the passenger side bracket has broken, and will be sent back for a warranty replacement. James says he does not use Energy Suspension parts, they are manufactured for him by another company (unspecified), but he also does not discount the possibility of Energy Suspension brackets working in place of the ones he uses.
I sprayed my replacement bracket (the driver side bracket) with tons of Krown T40, and have been semi-regularly reapplying the stuff. I actually just went out to my car in the company parking lot and sprayed a good 4 second burst of T40 right onto the bracket. Still looks shiny and non-rusted so far.
It's actually $25 + $15 shipping = $40 USD for 2 brackets and bushings. Can we find equivalent Energy Suspension parts right here in Toronto? Or perhaps there are reinforced brackets made out of adamantium (I'll accept solid steel in lieu) that we can buy, install and forget about forever?
