Gotta replace my rears, the Mz5 rotors are bigger. Just need the bracket to hold the caliper out further.

Installed my JBR SRI and TIP.. It's amazing and all with the S-OTS map that I flashed, boost targets are met, LTFT's are spot on 0 at WOT, fuel trims are great.
but..
I just think that the clamps are too convoluted and there's no bracket on the intake like it had on my CP-E intake. Also hated that clamp on the TIP! I don't like how it sits besides the ECU. I might pull it out on the weekend and sell it and go with the usual CP-E.
Or am I just picky? LOL!!

Why no buy whale peen?

I don't drive a Honda.![]()

@optiklenz13
Fuel trims will always read zero at WOT. You're in open loop

As of like right now in time and space I am faster then Snotrocket and Breakfasteatre......and maybe Boyracer.....unless he has his new ECBS.
I have AMAZING AFR's though.

Soon, soon. Weather sucks. Garage is the best part. Nator BBQ at some point.

Corksport vs. Cobb vs. CPe catted downpipe? I've decided to stay away from UR because of a supposed rust issue, but I haven't found a significant answer for the others either here or on msf.
Without taking brand-whoring into consideration, is there a tangible reason to choose one over the other? Is there one that the community prefers over the other? Corksport is significantly cheaper (MSRP plus the GB going on), but apparently only uses a 200 cell catalyst (could fail emissions?).

Emissions is all through the computer now

Go with corksport then

Cobb and CP-e have the best reputation...I am happy with my cp-e dp. But really they all accomplish the same thing.

@SilentJay
I won't point it out just yet but what do consider to be significantly less and what do you think the price of the corksport dp is?

@loki . Just had a look, you opened my eyes for sure. The CS lists at $300, but then the high flow cat add on is $281 making it $581 retail. Then a 10% GB discount you are at $523 .
CP-E from Edge with High Flow cat, $555 retail, I think the MSF discount is 3% , so $538.
Cobb is $695 from Edge.
Thus I think go CP-E .

I think I might have had a massive brain fart or stroke while I was at work... The question I originally posed was basically trying to justify the price premium for the cobb, but I started jotting down the prices between meetings and gave myself what appears to be a healthy discount to the Corksport price. My apologies. I guess I'm getting a CPe + the Tax1 code on MSF for 5% off.

You're paying for I believe the highflow cat as well as the race pipe
