    Welcome to tm3.

No racelands, save your money and buy self respecting coils. St coils, kw coils, bc etc.

    Hey dude, welcome.
What wheel set up are you planning running? Depending on your size/offset, you will or won't need spacers / stretch / fender roll. Stock wheels I think you should be fine, but you'll be far from flush haha.

Weren't you about to tell your gf to get Racelands? Lol they're actually not absolutely terrible coils - for the price, they're awesome. Idk why everyone finds it so easy to hate on them.

i bought racelands and installed three of them this past weekend (having trouble getting some bolts off the control arm on my final corner and hoping to finish tonight)

I'm not sure how the quality will be long term, but for $425 shipped, i'm willing to find out. the packaging was really well done, and the build quality looks really nice. you wouldn't guess they cost less than half as much as more commonly used brands.

Also bought a set for my e30 that i'm hoping to install soon as well.

Perhaps should make up mind first... Never drive afraid... May be a waste if she's uncomfortable with the mod

Just drop it an inch. The new Springs, even at that height, will give you a better ride than stock.

I think you get more than you'd expect for $425 coils but dont think it'll compare to KW V3's

    That would be my guess

I'm anxious to hear some unbiased reviews. Did find some but they didn't end well.

Keep in mind people usually tend to report the bad. Not many people take the time to write a review on something they are happy with

You buy something with the expectation of being satisfied. But when anything goes wrong you will notify the world via the internet

This goes for any product, service, restaurant etc

If you are young and trying to save for a house or something along those lines a grand for a car mod may be out of the question

I have only been running mine for two months but don't let people scare you away because they are to good for budget mods. This is a mazda 3 forum after all

That pretty much says it. Even though race land is not a high end coil, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad coil. Although keep your eye open. I've seen ST's and BC's for great prices out there

I have cheap vmaxx coils. Running for 3 yearsish I guess. Maybe.

They are fine for me. Personally not a fan of the materials KWs are made of. The collar in particular. (Some type of plastic) and there has been plenty of problems with BCs blowing or seizing. I haven't had either issue with aprox 75-100k on vmaxx.

I may just be lucky and I do lube the suspension twice a year at minimum.

Okay let me break it down. Coming from a dude who rode Racelands for awhile I'll give my quick review.

If all you're looking for is to be lowered than springs, then these are the best bang for the buck.
If you're going for comfort, then Racelands aren't your best option.
You're going to need to use your stock strut mounts.

I bought Racelands because I wanted the lows, and didn't give a crap about the comfort. I didn't race with them, nor did I expect much out of it other than making my car lower. As for that Skyactivemanny dude, what do you really know about experiencing them coils?

OP plans to pick up simple coilovers, OP didn't mention about the best ride comfortability.
    OP: you don't need spacers

I may not have experience with them but experience tells me that with best bang for your buck the next bang will make you spend ever more bucks. You pay for what you get.
