Just a fun tidbit for you all.

I put 912 kms on my Dakota since I purchased my Mazda in May 2014.

In those 912 kms, I have:

-replaced front bumper
-replaced all brake lines
-replaced both front calipers, brake hoses, pads and rotors
-replaced battery
-replaced parking brake
-replaced starter

Totalling about $950 (all work performed by me except the parking brake).

I think it's time I sell the truck boys.

I would love the SRT8, but im plenty happy with the good ol reliable hemi. SRT8 starts pushing the bank a little more than I'd like where I'm at right now.

My 2010 GX Hatch now has 90,000KM on in. No issues, regular maintenance only. I did have to replace the transmission fluid (auto), which seemed a bit early, but that wasn't much. A lot of fun too, shame about the lack of any power. I like everything else about it.

I'm eyeing an EcoBoost Mustang for my next car, rear wheel drive, actual power, not totally atrocious fuel economy, slick looks (debatable) and a reasonable price. You never know though, sometimes you go out and look at cars and come home with a totally different one than you expected to. I thought I was going to buy a Matrix when I bought the Mazda, liked it more in every way except cargo room.
