They say I'm an addict but I don't have a problem with alcohol or drugs. I'm an addict because I can't live without bass. Car audio is my addiction. And it will never change.
That's the planI definitely don't intend on staying here for more than 2 years...hopefully
Honestly, I could have gotten something, but not in the automotive industry (where I have all my experience in), and the pay wouldn't have been as good as here. Not to say it's that good here, but still. I figure some experience at the headquarters of an OEM would likely be beneficial to me down the road. At this stage in my life, gotta follow wherever the opportunity is. These guys here were sort of a sure thing, in terms of being hired, as opposed to keep waiting it out for an opening in the GTA, that not only would be a decent-ish job, but would be one I was somewhat qualified for. Gotta make some temporary sacrifices in hopes of it paying off in the future.
And as much as I absolutely hate it down here, its kinda nice to do the whole independence thing. I mean, I had lived alone for school and coop terms away from the GTA too, but was still in the same provinceThis is a whole new adventure.

Had some gorgeous weather here yesterday, so figured I'd go out and get familiar with my new toy (camera).
Would've been much nicer if:
a) I knew what the hell I was doing with this thing
b) Had a nice car to shoot
I'd also like to mention how much I love post-editing. I can make the car look almost un-faded again! lol onto the pictures..

Stay safe in Detroit buddy, and here's some solidarity from Baltimore.![]()
Nah, if she's not too gone yet, she never will be. No more (significant) mods lol
Agreed haha though in hindsight, if I was more patience and thought out my mod plans a little longer into the future, I like would've held out and done both those thingsalas, much too late now. Just gotta ride the car out till it craps out completely.
Thank you kind sir! I feel sorry for your car in those streets as well. Although I also feel sorry for those streets, having your car tear them aparthaha can't wait to see more updates on your ride!
Looks great man!
Alright, so following up on this. I took a few pics/vids since I went on a little walk today. I live now in an apartment complex where there's like a separate entrance off the main road. So these "road imperfections" are only what I have to go through from the main road to my parking spot. Unfortunately I couldn't get all of them, and missed out on two of the worst ones, because cars were going buying and I couldn't record those areaswill have to get those later.
But anyway, onto the evidence of:
1) why I will never complain about Toronto roads ever again
2) why I'm forced to de-stance
This is what I have to deal with every time I enter/leave my place..

Merica has no money to fix dem roads.
Go low and feel the burn. Get some Vossen or Volks and feel the pain. You got nuttin' else to gain. Dress them up with some Michelin Pilot Super Sport and now your shoes are complete. Fitted and slammed is where this ride should be. Nuf said.

@asyed height ftw.
I've got this neat little contraption for my car, where I can...wait for it....manually adjust the height of the car! :O
So no, no lift kit (yet). Gonna raise it up again...till it lowers itself back down within a monthRinse and repeat I guess...
Everyone is lowering their car going from winter to summer....me?...raising
Soon, we'll be seeing you with a F-150.
