I didn't do this in my Sportage, but rather in a Ford Focus and Mustang: vehicle handling (skid control), braking exerciss, emergency lane changes and distracted driving demonstration (actually texting while driving a course).

We were invited to paticipate in the Ford Driving Skills for Life event at the Powerade Centre in Brampton. Lots of fun with excellent practical skills and demonstrations. The event is mainly for teens, but any time you can get behnd the wheel and squeal a few tires is always good.

Peel police were tweeting about that all day. Showing the drunk glasses to help try & make ppl not drink & drive. So many in peel but at least lots are getting caught.

Got @Reddie1337 to replace the A/C compressor and fill the car up with freon. Took a bit for the compressor but she's blowing cold air again. Success!!

The MD one is better than the JBR that I tried. But yeah it is notchy. I will see if it improves without the stock shift weight. I also have the cobb knob which is light so I think that exaggerates it even more.

Got my Pro Kit installed this morning by Jimmy. He did a great job. Super quick.

Anyone know what size spacers I can run with stock ms3 wheels and pro kit, without needing a fender roll?

Replaced a broken splash shield and installed tinted LED rear reflectors.

I have them hooked to signal right now, but I might change it to brake because I have orange signals all around, and I like that instead of the red on the rear, so that might be changed soon.

Otherwise I like them, and pretty easy install.

Today and yesterday was spent cursing the car and debating where I could find a secluded enough cliff to drive it off of. Also involved getting my summer setup on.

The above two things may or may not be strongly related..

Got my first amp installed. Screwed up the wiring being the first time I've done it and blew a couple fuses. I'll start taking off the door panels tomorrow to wire the speakers the proper way...

At least when I do the second one it will be easier

It happens. Did you blow the power wire fuses or the amp fuses? And I tell you it your doing then door speakers go buy door clips or take some from a scrap car in the scrapyard. You'll break a few taking the door panel off lol. Usually anyway. I'm assuming your doing a sub/amp combo and speaker amp as well?

The audio fuse, dome light fuse, and the transaxle fuse. The dome light fuse blew twice until I switched the transaxle fuse. I've already had the door panels off to swap the speakers and there weren't any clips that were an issue, just the door lock cable. But yeah, sub/amp and speaker/amp combo, haven't purchased the sub/amp yet though
