Went out to the back to check... it was mine!!!

Damn, when I saw that this post was updated I thought you would've put up some pictures! I'm excited for you, so you must be dying. Can't wait to see it in person.
I wanted to but don't have a camera on me![]()

What's the proper break in procedure for a turbo car? Not sure the mototuneusa method works - something about the seals of the turbo engine needing a more gentle break in method?
____
Not sure what the proper procedure is... I may take the "drive it like you stole it" approach.
I snapped some shots yesterday with my coworkers cellie... hard to get good shots because they backed it up in a spot against a fence and the weather was crap.

Nice car Jobes. Can I have it?![]()
you can buy it... in say... 5-6 months?![]()
Hmm...
Facking ugly.
First in line to buy it from you when you buy it out. Dibs. Called it. Back off everyone.
I'm jealous.
Can everyone stop drooling for a sec here....
It's only a farking car for crying out loud.
Jobes - do let us know how that 6spd ZF unit performs. From what I've read, it's vastly improved over the old unit, shifts a lot faster, and most importantly, rev matches the downshifts. The lack of rev matching is one of my beefs with most quasi-manual automatics.
I have driven various iterations of the E46 and E90 (have yet to try the 335 though) in both Steptronic and manual extensively and the Steptroinc versions left me underwhelmed. On every occasion the shifts were so laggy that I just gave up and left it in D.
Yes it is just a car... but it doesn't mean I can't be excited about it.
BMWs are a higher form of car.
