2) pay additional $450 to have this redone - best alternative...just make sure you keep an eye on the colour
3) mount this - Definitely no
4) plastidip this red - I wouldn't plastidip these rims..

Since you'll be using these as your "daily rims" - I highly suggest you re-powdercoat it. with a DISCOUNT

to all: i'm sure Quy has his reasons for charging for a redo. i'm still currently discussing this with him. so before we jump to conclusions that a sponsor is wack for failing to provide the promised color, let me try and resolve this with him first. but despite all this, quy is still a super nice guy.

these are the wheels i got powdercoated at Quy's. they were supposed to be Advan Gold. as you can see...they're not - sigh. Any feedbacks on what i should do at this point? Example:

Hope everything works out. Definitely not the colour you wanted. If you showed him the colour then he should have given you that colour. Should be a free or at least reduced redo.

hahaha... yes you have stephen. it's all good... i have another surprise set up coming this spring/summer. i'm not flipping out at this point simply because of two reasons:

1) fobio's mediating the situation at this moment and he's one of the few members on this forum i strongly respect.
2) these were gonna be spares anyways... lol

floodgate your correct, Advan doesnt release their rim color codes especially their unique gold color ><
I was gna go and powercoat my RGIIs gold but everyone told me they would never turn out the same as Advan gold..

What color is that on the wheels it looks like a really low end white :/ if that was pearl white i'd mayb buy them advan gold would be so sweet thog.
