That is a luxury sports wagon.
Its not in the same price segment, and vehicle segment.

People looking to buy the MS3 will most likely not cross shop the Cadillac and vice versa. Thus it cannot be labelled as a competitor.

The MS3 is more in the cheap speed/hot hatch category which would make it a direct competitor to the likes of the Golf GTI and Focus RS.

It's a rendering of a race car, and I expect the wing would be functional, especially when combined with that front splitter and rear diffuser.
