Dont hate loki, im far from a professional driver, but confidence is key, cockyness is bad.
I also NEED a small amount of rotation for corner entry and since the dsc would be completely off i could get that small rotation.
You can tell on track that the car is electronically held back at points, and when it is LITERALLY making you slower than you could be it needs to go.
Ide just like to drive the car at its potential, and with swas and dsc you are not able to reach its potential!

"It is amazing how many drivers, even at the Formula One Level, think that the brakes are for slowing the car down." -- Mario Andretti

It was at ddt vince.
when we ran the first configuration (clockwise with 3 kinks) it was an issue, but that config was strictly for the school i think.
Then ccw 1 kink i was getting it at the bottom of the hill before the straight and again and the end of the straight, one is a 90* the other one is more than 90* and i was in second for both.
Maybe celest will chyme in, hes had his gen2 on ddt a few times ide imagine.

I'm not sure Paul ever got to put the gen2 on a track yet but teaching and having learned at DDT id be hard pressed to hit boost cut in second gear. You're going too slow for boost.
CCW at DDT. With stock turbo I only need 3rd and 4th. Even CW with the extra kink before front start where you need second for a bit you should never hit boost cut.
Techniques play a huge part. I've never had issues with swas at track.

that switch seems like a very easy install regardless. Curious how things are going to pan out at sigma #1
**** yeah, its this weekend
Oh damn, that sucks. Oh well, I stopped reading the Speed section because according to certain people only speed owners are allowed to even look at that section.

Standsideways
No I haven't had my car at the track yet however I can assure you I drive the car pretty hard. I have yet to find the DSC in anyway interfere with my driving with my summer tires. The computer monitors wheel spin and then will issue a correction based on the swas. I rarely, rarely get wheelspin if the tires are warm so maybe that's why it doesn't bother me.
I however will be making more than a few track appearances this year so I will have more experience to gauge the situation you are having.
Just to curb my curiousity are you running an accessport?

Yea, no need...whenever people try to split things off it just kills everything. At best I'd say we could use a NATOR subcategory in the mazdaspeed section but even then, the topics aren't usually NATOR as much as they are mazdaspeed related.

no need to further separate. Not even a need for a separate section in the speed section.
last thing I need is another forum/website to troll....
Nator isn't something physical, it's a state of mind!

Cool, I thought of that after I posted that it's better to just keep everything within this MS3 section.

Yeah, I would rather learn how to tune myself too (and am doing as much). It's lousy how these days the people with the know how are in it for making money rather than sharing their knowledgeI don't really want to pay for a tune, trust that they do everything right and not understand what they changed and why and how it affects my car.
