However, when I told him about the recent work done and that I have an appointment to get something fabricated this week he said forget it and started asking about the car. I almost never get pulled over either, when I do I usually don't even get a ticket. They see my clean record and that Im not a complete moron and leave me alone.

I think you and Conner have been the perfect examples cops pulling guys over just because. Young guys in modified cars. Even with a clean record.

Besides, once you become a fireman, you'll get off no problems for speeding or anything else. My brother in law gets away with the scariest crap on the road. Police, firemen and EMS all stick together.

Hey guys, my ride height depends on the area I drive in. If it's near my house, I ride it to the highest it can go due to some problems as well as speed bumps. That being said with my highest setting, I still scrape in my drive way and speed bumps with angled driving. If you guys don't believe me let me know if you want to try :)

Highway / anywhere not near my house I like to drive with no gap. I want to go lower but I'm scared because I'm not rolled yet.

During the day of Ertefa that I went to, I haven't got to saving any presets.. It was my second day that I was bagged, on got my last remaining shock put in the rear.

First world problems bahah, was behind a total sleeper 5.0 last night. Stock rims/hubs (shiny disk) with almost drags on them, dual exhaust routed behind the old muffler, and the whole thing twisted when he left the light haha. So awesome

The only thing I can logically conclude is that the AirRex system has a lower internal volume than the AirLift bags. *Nerd Alert* the ideal gas law states that Pressure x Volume = nRT. As all the variables on the right are constant between the two systems, if the pressure needed to get to a certain height (i.e. to exert an identical force between two cars) is higher, then the volume of the system has to be decreased proportionally.

I KNOW this is true with the AirRex rear bags which are sleeves vs. double-bellows. I assume it must also be true for the front bags although they are of similar design.

With a smaller initial volume at ride height, you'll also then find the bag volume changes in greater proportion over bumps with the AirRex system. This means the effective spring rates change by a greater amount as well. Which I think also explains why stiffer shocks are needed to control the AirRex bags.

My guess is AirRex used sleeve-type bags in the rear due to the design of our lower control arms (sleeves are smaller so no rubbing issues). I know in a lot of their other applications they use double-bellow bags in the rear.

Airlift had rubbing issues in the rear for a long while, and worked on fixing that. The solution was the LCAs. Not cost effective, but a better solution in the long run.
