Meant to post a couple of these from the weekend. More of just a informative post.
On Saturday, while driving through the forks of the credit with my girlfriend on that nice,warm,sunny day we had, we witnessed 2 motorcycles collide into each other. The motorcycle on the red Honda went to overtake jeep on a solid yellow line, on a curve. As he pulled into the left lane, a oncoming motorcycle tried to quickly dodge the other bike, but they still hit. Thank God both of them were wearing their gear because that must have saved them. The huyabusa must have slid 20-30ft as I took most pictures from the guardrail. Both were mature riders as well, and this stuff can still happen.

i'm so jelly! been contemplating a F150 in the near future, so I can throw a jetski on the back.

Unfortunately that's my cousins boyfriends truck and ATV. But I'm hoping to replace my 3 with the new Chevy Colorado when it comes out in fall. The 3.6 V6 is rated to tow 7000lbs, which is plenty for the boat and an ATV.

Alternatively, you could just pull an jet ski with the 3. It'll be able to do it.

Good ol pigeon. We bring the boat over sometimes to party at the sandbar and wakeboard when the winds are calm. We're on shadow lake though in Norland. Going through the locks is always a fun trip..good times

just saw this. and all i have to saw. is.. what a dick. that road on a bike going the speed limit to 10 over is enough. heck anything over 70 i think is just playing with fire in there. but id rather live then ride my bike to some stupid speed just because. but wow. not a road i would pass on unless the guy was legit doing 30-40 or doing brake tests. otherwise id wait it out. good to know they are ok.

We had a boat lift delivered and installed at the cottage this weekend. Due to the topography of the area there was no way to directly deliver the lift so we had to float it in. Just before we took the lift off the truck the guy turns to me and says "I'm not going to lie, we've never floated one of these before so I have no idea if it will work" Luckily it did, although you couldn't go much faster than a crawl otherwise the front two floats would start to go underwater.

Well done! Looks like it came together nicely. Last weekend we had to build a new floating dock for our set up. Built it on land and had to flip it over and drag it into the water. Pain in the a$% haha. 12x13ft.

Where are you guys located? We're in the kawarthas. Edit: don't mind my wife trying to look at cool for the camera haha ;)

Well done! Looks like it came together nicely. Last weekend we had to build a new floating dock for our set up. Built it on land and had to flip it over and drag it into the water. Pain in the a$% haha. 12x13ft.

^^ Great job. Just curious. How do you anchor these swim platforms in place?

Jackal - if you look back to the first picture I posted on the previous page, you will see a small black piece of steel in the middle of the front of the dock. It's a steel plate bolted into the front of the dock. Under the dock there are chains attached to the plate and to the cement blocks under water. We then just use ropes on the back and tie to land.
This weekend I will install a second hinge on the gangway that is currently resting on the floating dock.

If I remember, Ill grab some underwater gopro shots to show you.

Haha I can see where you're coming from. You have to check one out in person. Different types of light expose the different varieties of pearls in the dip. For instance under 4000k streetlights you see a really deep blue yet under 6000k LEDs in front of a store or restaurant at night you see another type of blue with some purple flip. It's really cool but very very high attention grabbing which is the only turn off for me. Everybody is turning their necks to the point I might redo it Satin Black.
