my wheels are powder coated black too and i just wash with soap and water and i use meguiars polish and wax and meguiars cone thing that goes in your power drill and they come out looking great

Hey buddy, it wasn't too bad at all. Fellow 3er 2010maztre helped me. Pretty much take the bumper off and start removing the necessary screws. (Look online for the 2010+ tech manual on google and go to page 1717 I think. Is how to remove the front bumper

Yeah I would have preferred to run square as well. I figured that if I'm running a dumb wheel setup I might as well pair it with dumb tire sizes. I'm glad I did because these tires seem to run a lot wider than my old Falkens

So i'm looking at this pic and I noticed something about the way my kw's are installed. The pre stressed spring is installed upside down on my car. Meaning its at the bottom of the sleeve, not the top. I had them installed by Jimmy at Street Performance almost 2 months ago. Is this an issue? I do notice some noise coming from the front suspension, now i'm wondering if this is the reason.

I didn't notice until you pointed it out....they do look color coded haha. I littered their cars with H4H promo stuff and I harass them all daily about it.

You may notice the burgundy...wine colored one is missing the rear emblem. The day that went missing he was in our parking lot parked next to me. I am so happy he was the victim and not I haha.

I had a similar thing happen to me on campus the other day :P ( I like parking next to other mazda3's / other modded mazdas)

For a few days I used to park next to a MS6.... until security caught on and told me I cant park there ( stupid parking permits.... and the lot is never full in the area I park).
I even left a h4h flyer on the MS6.

Also I remember there was a red 2nd gen mazda 3 hatch with tm3 plates... parked beside him/her a few times... dont know where they park now.... was hoping to leave a h4h flyer.

When I hit subway for lunch I park beside an MS6 that is always in the subway plaza. I finally saw the women who owns the car and made a comment about the two red Mazdaspeeds. She had no clue. She bought the car because it was the only red one on the lot at the time. hahaha

I offered to trade but she said she prefers the trunk over the hatch. I then left her my business card and said if you ever sell, please call me first!!

The less cars around your car... the better.

Just today I parked right next to a cross hatched area and had my right wheels right next to the line on that side... gave the person beside me lots of room....
Also certain parking lots have certain parking spots that may be a bit wider than the other ones ( and not for disabled people/families).... usually found near curbs.... just be careful not to curb your wheels when pulling in/out.

its interesting how you are ( im assuming) using a proffesional level wax ( from what i saw you got your car detailed by hamza lately) whilst mine is something i bought at walmart. That said different waxes have different properties.

Also if you plan on re-waxing your car after winter: may i suggest Meguiars Ultimate Liquid wax. Its a bit pricey but one bottle will last you a very long time ( one application lasts atleast 4-5 months from my experience.... have heard some people managing to stretch it to a year). Ive still only used 1/4th of my bottle for 2 full applications and various panels after I polished them when i was bored, as well as I used some on my dads car.

Haha, thats sweet. If I were to do angel eyes I'd do colour changing. I've gone almost two years I think of not turning my blue ones on much because I've been trying to get something else blue to match but something always prevented me.

Haha, thats sweet. If I were to do angel eyes I'd do colour changing. I've gone almost two years I think of not turning my blue ones on much because I've been trying to get something else blue to match but something always prevented me.

Yeah I do get compliments, I just think it would look so much better with something else.

I was going to get blue wheels for a while. Then I stopped because I was irritated with paint imperfections and thought maybe it best I wrap the car blue instead. Then I ran into other issues which meant I couldn't afford it. Next thing you know its winter again. I'm back on the blue wheel boat again.

Yeah man, all you need is some plastidip. Worst case it looks bad you just peel it off no harm done! Protects those wheels too... I'd do something to my winter steelies but I do not want those ugly turds to stand out more haha, hubbies for now

Thanks, they are colour changing. I usually have them on Blue, Red or Purple....Going to do green and red on christmas tho haha
