Let me give some backstory first:

Being the great uncle that I am, I have a booster seat for my niece and a car seat for my baby nephew in the back. I do drive my niece to school every morning.

My pet peeve (which just happened three days ago):

"why do you have your niece and nephews car seats at the back? you sure you aren't hiding a secret family?"

FTFY

I think generally people are good at minding their own business and respecting other people's lives. You might get the odd or awkward stare from an older generation if they see a very young, adult single mother alone with a child or a young teen couple with stroller who still haven't matured out of the aspiring "thug/diva" life. This world is full of assumptions, no matter where you are in your life.

Lmao! Baby mama drama :P majority of the time if I'm ever driving someone home they usually know me and know I have younger siblings, but the odd time I have gotten the "what's that doing here" when they see the car seat :P hopefully who ever is in your car isn't that quick to judge you :P

lol ok...not going to lie...I would prefer girl going commando...something exciting about a girl going commando...depending on what activities are going on anyways, having a thong pulled to the side isn't going to save the seat...just deal with the stain enjoy the present activities and worry about detailing the upholstery at a later date.

The novelty wears off. After a while it loses its "excitement" and just becomes a nuisance Lol. We've all seen her underwear drawer and the stains that never wash out, and that's with a proper washing machine. Scrubbing it out with a damp cloth doesn't work, so you gotta haul out the shopvac, soak the seat, and suck it up.

Same with squirters. Once you realize she's going to make a mess every time, you don't want to do it anymore lol.

But they still are real in my mind. No Shame :)

But another thing I dislike is when you drive someone and want to stay out but they want to go home. Not necessarily a date thing, but happens with friends all the time, and that is annoying.

See when going places to just jam and there's no drinking involved I don't mind driving cause I like it and I feel more comfortable being in control. When others drive I always have that doubt they are gonna screw up lol. When going out drinking tho if it's a club I'll always say taxi and everyone pitches cause it sucks not drinking lol. Bars I'll drive tho as I don't find them that great and am ok with not drinking then.

My girlfriend is retarded sometimes when we are driving. She has a car and a license but if we are together driving 1/100 she is driving. She will get into my car and crank the heat to full when its cold outside and my car hasn't been started in a while (cuz the magic heat fairies are just gonna make sure my car heats up instantaneously), proceeds to complain that its cold and then I turn the music up just to have it turned down. Just because she wanted me to hear that she was cold some more :bang!! But then again last time I had her drive to my house ( I was at home she was at her house) she somehow managed to end up 15 mins away from my house WITH GPS!!! How is that even possible? (I live on Clairfields and Gordon in Guelph, she ended up at Paisley and Imperial). No offense to the TM3 ladies but directions are not a woman's strong suit. Or maybe I just haven't found one with good direction sense.

All of them except for one. Alas, she was already married. :(
Forget about driving. I could be 15min away, and she would still not drive.

I dated a girl once. Great girl overall. This one thing she did on this day changed my views on her! When I was working at Crappytire and I had forgotten my wallet at home and her and I had already made dinner plans. She was going to pick me up and we would go. I explained to her I had forgotten my wallet and she said it's okay. Then when she gets there we go straight to my house because she want me to get my wallet. On to the next on on to the next one. That's what I absolutely HATE

You have to set the tone from the very first date. I find a lot of guys offer to pay on every date because they think it's the "manly" thing to do and so the girl thinks he's fine with paying. Not all girls are like this though :P With any guy that I've been in a relationship with, I always ask for split bills when we go out to eat. It might look stupid to others but it works for me. That way he doesn't resent me for paying for any of my stuff and I definitely don't want a guy to pay for anything of mine. Some of my girlfriends show off their $1000 purses every once in a while and I'm there with nothing, or a KitKat bar lmao.

Truthfully I like to be the one driving. It isn't a sexist thing its just something I prefer. Keep in mind I'm one of those guys who hates being in the passenger seat. Cannot stand it. With anyone really for that matter. I like knowing where I'm going and getting there. Just how I am. And your right a lot of women are like that. She's not. We take her car sometimes but I kinda prefer mine lol. It makes me sad when I get in hers (13 elantra) and hear a great song and don't get the boom I get with mine haha. But I do like no snow tires and a good ebrake haha. Needless to say I'm not allowed to take her car unless she's with me lol. And no not at all. In the time I've been with her I've had her call crying she's lost over a dozen times lol.

If they didn't get whatever they wanted then I looked like the douchebag. And that sucks as I'm really not. Just don't make a lot of money (back then). Now my relationship is one of those where we do split the meal or whatever it be and I do what I can because I want to not because I have to anymore. A lot of women don't see that and think that a guy should just shower them with all this shit that they really didn't need.

They aren't women :P I don't rely on anyone for anything. I have a career, If I want something, I'll go buy it myself. Only time I'll let a boyfriend buy something for me is if it's Christmas and we're exchanging gifts, or if it's my birthday. Other than that, any other holiday or occasion, I'm fine with a card or chocolate. I don't even want flowers for Valentine's and I specifically ask them not to buy me flowers. I've been on both ends of the conundrum and have paid plenty from the get go to getting almost everything paid for. I think at first the man should offer or insist to pay for things and as the relationship progresses the lady should, actually must, at least offer to. You'll start to wonder fast where the relationship is headed if your date continues to contribute zilch whilst exuding this expectation of unwarranted early entitlement. It's really not about the money, it's a simple gesture in expressing genuine feelings and ultimately respect towards that individual. I've tested a date on numerous occasions and gotten as far as blatantly mentioning it for nth time to no avail that I actually believed this girl was purposely not willing to flick a penny my way! When you realize the utter apathy and disingenuous feelings an individual has towards you, you realize having fun alone is cheaper than with a tag along. No man wants to feel like a tool.

On the flip side, I got too much of what I wished for in my next relationship, where I had to argue and fight in front of waitresses and cashiers into letting me pay. To add to that having your every compliment being shot down because of low self esteem, being interrogated on the price of a gift prior to receiving a thank you, no monetary expense was simple! It made me feel very emasculated really, in a sense it was an outlet of expressing my genuine feelings which I always felt were being attacked. Call me old fashioned! This girl ended up being my wife and we still argue everyday :)

TL/DR - short post about cheap dates turned into long post riddled with personal problems.

If only it were that simple... dress sizes from one company aren't the same to another... she might be a 4 with company X, but she'll be a 6 with company Y. I think it's some sort of conspiracy to ensure that men will never be able to buy the right clothes for a woman.

lol I feel like we are talking about different age groups here.

Men/women in their early 20's are totally different then those in their early 30's.

Mat and I go spiltsies on pretty much everything, including driving. I mean we are pretty much married and own a house together but still bank seperately (for now) so we just take turns paying for things.

But the man pays for the first date. :) After that when you are comfortable... it's whatever you feel goes.

I feel tense as a passenger usually. I like driving but I am willing to compromise always. Not fair to always burn their gas over mine. As adults we should all be equal (for the most part).

I still make him do the "man" jobs at home lol

You can always ask if certain labels fit true to size, under, or over size. Any clothing store worth buying a gift at will be able to tell you that. Just like how H&M menswear fits small and American Eagle fits big.
Your best option though is to just get her normal size. If it doesn't fit, not your problem. You can always exchange unless you buy it on clearance or something... but don't buy something on clearance..

If you buy clothing for her, god help you if it is the wrong size. If you pick something for her out of the closet, it will either be something she doesn't wear anymore, or the size is wrong but she is keeping for some foolish reason.
Only thing I would do with the above, is say we are going somewhere nice for dinner, please be ready by 6:15pm(though we would not actually leave until 7), because women can never be ready on time to go anywhere.

Buying clothing is like playing russian roulette. I would just give my ex money and let her pick out her own outfit as a gift.

Another pet peeve i have during a date is when they play around with my preset stations. There is a reason why 102.1/88.1/107.1 are on my top 3. If i wanted 99.9...i'd have had that on already!!!!!!!

Thankfully I'm pretty good at picking out clothing for a woman. I haven't had to return anything just yet and all of them have worn what I gave them. Granted, it might've been 2 times max since women find wearing a specific dress/shirt/blouse more than 2 times unheard of. But at least they wore it. :)

Passenger Pet peeve: her friends left water bottles and used Kleenex in the back seat. Wtf! Don't litter when we drive you home.

uhhhhh yeah thats pretty rude and disrespectful. If someone did that in my car i would NOT be very nice about it. lol

I bought my ex boyfriends clothing in the past and I always manage to get the right size ;) lol

Because men's clothing fits the way it says it fits

We don't need the shirt to say xxxs when really its the size of a large

Lmao.
And most guys own the same article of clothing in different variations. Pretty easy.

I used to do my shopping by giving money to a friend (girl) tell them what I need and drop them off at the mall. They would ask what size and id say I dunno.

The catch 22 is if you do know your girlfriends and pick the correct size and it fits properly you earn some sweet brownie points! Because she is impressed you actually know what fits...

Atleast she had the mind to puke on the curb and not all over the side of your car! You should thank her for that atleast.

Wear a hat when you get in the car.. Problem solved. I have black interior. My girlfriend has blonde hair. Problem remains. I don't like beige interior and as for my hair I always wear a hat of some sort lol. And my hair never gets longer then 2 inches. Usually I drive the same people around, so they know the "rules". Basically if they do something, I comment on it the first time and they never do it again :P Pretty basic concept.
Another one of my peeves was when one of my friends kept pushing me to let them smoke in my car. I don't smoke, and it being their choice, I do not care if its cold, then don't go have a smoke:complain... I don't need my car smelling like crap - sounds mean, but its my car :D

Someone once left their backpack in my car with weed inside... when I got back, it was like someone had hot boxed my car. I was raging haha, especially because I've never smoked in my life and the smell was disgusting. That person didn't think there was anything wrong with what he did, I made him walk/wait for the bus and I drove away. He never did it again lol.

I smoke in my car but there are now strict rules in smoking in my car due to asshats putting about 4-5 holes in my seat. I admit I have one in my seat but it was from the wind taking it outta my hands and landing behind me in between my hoodie and seat. But that's in 7 years so I'm pretty proud. But I have 3 people I no longer allow smoking in my car. Or when people don't bother to put their window down and ash wherever they please. My car is not an ashtray. Don't treat it like one.
