I got my insurance price the other day, I'm 26, single male with a "clean" driving record (I swear that tree hit me ), for my '08 GT Sport, $112/mo with Unifund Assurance. Out of curiousity I also did a quote on a Mazdaspeed 3 - $115/mo.
Say what you want, I love living in a backwards hick town.

In 6 more months another ticket is off record and will be down to two. Lets hope no more get tacked on! For ANY of us!

Ah yes Pilot Insurance. I was put on their policy by my current insurance company when I had two speeding tickets in one year. My Insurance agent said I was on their "bad boy list." After a year I was moved back to my regular carrier.

I see some of these guys say they are paying 90 dollars a month or something rediculously low... man an extra 300$ a month would be bloody fantastic!

300$ a month savigs... so in 1 year and 4 months thats enough money JUST on insurance savings to pay for a Hi-Boost turbo kit($5000..)! D@NM!!

3 claims on my record (1 parking lot incident two thefts), 2 tickets.

That $240/month is also as under family's insurance so its written under my mother's name to get the huge discounts. I save $500 a year just for that.

I found cheaper insurance at belairdirect and might switch. $200/month for same coverage and under my own name. have to see when I turn 25 this year and how much it drops for me.

Though my wife has a clean driving record, I had a write- off accident in '05 and 3 speeding tickets between '05-'07.

My insurance for the both of us on both cars is $288/ month, which also includes home insurance. I'm with Coseco (previously known as Direct Protect).


...... but I still remember back in the day when I was paying $350/ month for myself on one car.... damn, that sucked a55!!!!!

(laugh) ... Actually... it's cuz partially because of an alumni status... Most Universities/colleges have an alumni status with Meloche Monnex for a discount (depending on how much your school has put into these types of plans).... and because I have home insurance....

its too much IMO as well. my cusin paid $190/m, 26yrs old. few speeding tickets(around 5)! and its 07 HB GT with lux pak and moon roof. only $500 deductible. btw its full coverage.

I know, eh? I honestly think its due to being in brampton. It HAD a bad rep for stolen cars. I do the same quote at the same site, but only in North bay, and its 240 a month!

I went to kanetix, and KTX? (never heard of them rated B++) will do it for $240.

My parents broker could only get me 390 a month! Said screw that and found bel-air direct.

My plan expires June, I'll be switching then if they don't drop my rates.

If i call in and hunt for a discount, is there a chance they can RAISE my rates?
