Awesome night. in the same vain. a 20 year old Persian guy can afford to buy an e39 m5 and you see it all the time. do you think he's prepared to pay maintenance on an off warranty M car including the 10,000$ decarbonizing that plagued that gen. hells no. you can afford the keys but you can't afford the ownership
Oh damn, that sucks. Oh well, I stopped reading the Speed section because according to certain people only speed owners are allowed to even look at that section.

Good times guys. Next time, I'll try to be more awake.
Thanks for the ribs, Chris. The ones that didn't taste like carbon were my favourite.

^ LOL.
Definitely a great night... Thanks for hosting!

Thanks for having us over Chris the chicken was amazing lol.

anyone interested in JBR RSB group buy?

Just wanted to state that blowing one of the intercooler lines while getting onto the highway sucks.
0.000212524463 gigawatts

was it something you could easily get too?
Want to work on your car but not sure how, send me a PM. Learn the way of Nator.

Third gear getting on the highway at Jameson heading east, let the car get up to about 2900 rpm and floored it. Sounded like the worst backfire ever and that Dave may have just sold his other motor. Pulled right off on the shoulder put the hood up. The coupler split off the top hot pipe just behind the intercooler. Thankfully had tools and it was one the couplers that was easy enough to do.
If anyone needs a hand with RSB installs, let me know......it's super easy.

I've had intercooler pipes pop off on the highway before, NOT fun. First time was top of 3rd and the hot pipe off the turbo popped straight off and hit the inside of the hood. I thought I threw a rod. LOL. I was able to keep driving (off boost) since the pipe was still in place, just not sealed. Second time was while logging on the 407. The cold pipe off the IC going towards the TB popped right off... I couldn't reach it without dropping the engine cover. Had to limp it back home. I discovered if you keep the rpms low and accelerate VERY slowly, you can drive with a massive leak. Probably wasn't very wise looking back...
I hear spraying hair spray on the inside of the silicon helps keep it in place.

Anyone up for a coffee?

now?
