245/45-17 are really tall and are harder to fit then my 255/40-17.

I wouldhave gone 255/40 but 8" was my wheel width.

245/45/17 barely fits, but i have yet to rub!

750lbs??? That's it? I might have done that once (all seats taken - 4 passengers + driver + crap in the trunk). Only problem I had is I immediately felt the car struggling to move.

i've had 1100 lbs with just 4 people in the car, including me LOL rear tires rubbed over ever bump down the 404

Just installed a JBR ssp (ver 1). Like a 40% reduction in throw length, but the feel is a bit notchier than before. Guess I might have to look into adjusting the cables or whatever they're talking about on msf. Also, with the SSP installed, you can really appreciate the need for solid shifter bushings so you can get positive feedback when putting the shifter in gear (especially from 3rd to 4th).

edit: imma go for a little drive now to get used to it.

I can get to the shifter cable under the shift boot easily (no tools required). I think I'll mess with this on the weekend and see how it goes

Yup, perhaps if you adjust the cables it might get better. I've never tried that though. Will try it out when I get the energy.

junkyard turbo set up was the shit

although this set up was for a factory turbocharged car....just some extra wildness, just cuz

Got my JBR TMM installed today, thanks Mr. Wilson for the help and advice during the install. Car shakes like a mofo now, but it's all good. Love how it feels when I shift now. The vibes should settle down after a couple hundred KM
