As far as I know the only time I cried (seriously) was when Optimus Prime died in the original Transformers move when I was like 5 lol.
But seriously the ending wasn't sad. He just drove away with some nice/corny) words over top.

Jupiter Ascending
terrible, not sure if they were trying to be campy like Guardians of the Galaxy but it turned out but be cheesey lines
I actually enjoyed Jupiter Ascending. Went in knowing nothing about it. Came out pretty good.
Ex Machina - it was interesting. A few fall outs near the end, but overall enjoyed it.
Chappie - another futuristic outlook of AI. Everything was going really well, and then they rushed the ending. Could've ended a whole lot better. But alas...
Kingsman the secret service - funniest thing was hearing Samuel L Jackson deliver his lines with a lisp. Lol
its just a fun action flick. Has a few funny moments. I have to say I was expecting more. But it wasn't too bad.

Mad Max: Fury Road. Wow just WOW.
Watched three movies in the past week: Pitch Perfect 2 (7/10) Mad Max (7/10) and Ex Machina (10/10)
Pitch Perfect: funny, great movie - But Anna Kendrick was the low-point of the movie - Almost Everyone else was better.
Mad Max: AMAZING non-CGI effects - Non stop action - Decent lead character, low on plot, predictable. My eyes physically hurt by the end of the movie (3d)
Ex Machina: Great non-action special effects, Great acting - Really makes you think - Slow compared to a blockbuster (tons of dialog), but kept me at the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. Best movie I've seen in a long time - More of an "award winning" movie than a big blockbuster. Some people won't like it at all - But I loved it!

San Andreas - OK "popcorn" summer movie, most of the SFX were pretty good
Mad Max - I really have to rewatch the original. It's been forever since I've seen it. That being said, this remake was a lot over the top, but it had alot of funny moments to keep you entertained.
Time Lapse - An interesting take on the whole "don't mess with time" ordeal. Entertaining.
The Lazarus Effect - I had no idea what it was about going in. All I knew was Olivia was in it. Apart from the eye candy, the movie was alright. A little simplistic, but definitely watchable.
Batman Assault on Arkham - It's a good glimpse to the upcoming live action take "Suicide Squad". Enjoyable animation.

Also watched the town for the first time. Heard about it but never saw it. Amazing movie. Something about Boston crime movies are great whether it's the explicit language, the partial reality of it or just keeps you wondering what's going to happen next. And Jeremy Renner did an amazing job in it.

Some people didn't like it but I laugh so hard during the entire movie. Seth Rogen is hilarious and Michael Pena makes a great co star. Plus watching Rogen beat the shit out of Patton Oswalt was great.
The Big Lebowski
The dude Abides. Always one of my favourite movies. I love Jeff Bridges in the 90s. And the adventure he went with John Goodman was hilarious. And back when Tara Reid was in her prime too. Damn!
and finally Due Date.
I like the combo of an ass hole in Robert Downey Jr and Zack Galifinakis and it did remind me of planes Trains and Automobiles in a sense. But many laughs and I enjoyed the entire thing. Freaking out on him and the dog and spitting in the dogs face just killed me! Hahaha.

It has been....an interesting choice of films for his/her movie nights:
The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2555736/) - her choice; predictable but fun to see geriatric Gere being upstaged by the other older veteran Brit thespians. The first film was far more entertaining and should have remained un-sequelled.
Woman In Gold (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2404425/?ref_=tt_rec_tt) - her choice; a decent drama about the return of the Klimt painting, Woman in Gold aka Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I, back to its rightful owner after it had been stolen by the Nazis in WW2. Impeccable performance from Helen Mirren.
Mad Max: Fury Road (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1392190/?ref_=nv_sr_1) - my choice; refreshing to see that George Miller has not been overly dependent on CGI stunts. The entire film is one long chase scene with little to offer in terms of a story line but who really cares for that in an escapist summer film? Worthy addition to the Mad Max series.
Point Break (1991) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102685/?ref_=nv_sr_2) - mutual choice; All I can say is the remake will have a hard time matching this barrel.
Only You (1994) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110737/?ref_=nv_sr_1) - my choice; sappy romantic comedy that can also be a travelogue for Italy. Nice to see that it aged well, especially if seen in high def.

Training day. Still badass every time I watch it. Denzel plays a kick ass corrupt cop.
And Zoolander. Some people find it the stupidest movie ever but I love it. Ben Stiller as the biggest air head ever, Owen Wilson being himself, Will Ferrell is always funny when he's ridiculous (watch the campaign and tell me I'm wrong lol) and Ben stiller's father Jerry Stiller (the father of Karey in King of Queens) and a ridiculous plot. It still makes me laugh throughout the entire movie.

Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation
Really good, especially Simon Pegg, not sure.......it was subtle........but I think BMW was a sponsor, and every time we saw the bad guy and they'd have a dramatic delay before he spoke, you almost expected him to do an instructional video on how to assemble an Ikea dresser.

I enjoyed it as well. First time ever seeing this Rebecca lady. She can hold her own and she's easy on the eyes. :)
The Age of Adaline - I was expecting a mediocre drama-romance thing. But it wasn't too bad. Wish it had a stronger ending. It's watchable.
Watched Mission Impossible last night. It was an ok movie, I found Ant Man more entertaining though.

I love that movie. "Give me a haircut that says I wake up at 5am and commute to work everyday so I can have my jack off boss push me around all day just enough so I can deck my screaming kids out in Dora the explorer shit and my ungrateful wife bitching at me until the day I get the courage to put a shotgun to my mouth and blow my brains off"

Extending the circumstances set out in the original, it's highly implausible that a) anyone would willingly finance the Park again, because inevitably another catastrophe would occur (which it does); b) no one would create a new genetically-modified dinosaur as an attraction without strenuously testing out what the resulting genome had turned into, and what that dino was capable of; c) no one in their right mind would expect they could "weaponize" velociraptors.

the family. Robert De Niro doing what he does best. I love this movie but I have a love for the mafia movies too lol.
Yes Man. You know everytime I watch this movie I'm reminded of Liar Liar. Instead of telling the truth he has to say yes to everything. Although no claw lol.
And finally The Town. Never watched it up until recently and can't believe I never heard of it. Boston setting with awesome acting that keeps you wanting more.

The Purge
Interesting concept for a movie but not very well executed (no pun intended). They went for shock factor that just wasn't there and the whole movie ended up being quite predictable
The Strangers on the other hand gave me chills but I watched that quite some time ago
Insidious: Chapter 3 - Had some great scary scenes. No where near as good as the original, but then again, what does? Another good flick to watch with your significant other.

I didn't like it.
Sure the makeup, and story line were great - but the movie was poorly executed.
However - it's like a lot of mobster movies that try to capture the 10-20 year rise to empire within a 2-3hr span... Things get skipped, and edited out of the film. Really only showing highlights without really going into any detail (i.e. - Whitey's son's condition was pretty much skipped for time editing)
I found myself checking my phone for Facebook updates a few times.

The movie was great and Christoph waltz was amazing as always. I feel like the writers should have let him loose more like in Jango or Inglorious bastards. The movie was good nonetheless but I did like Skyfall better. It was a more well rounded movie.

Half-way through Season 1 and so far an interesting loose adaptation on Philip K. Dick's novel.
Scenario : Set in the early 1960s where the Axis powers ( Nazi Germany & Japan ) won WWII. The United States has been partitioned into three parts: The Japanese puppet state of the Pacific States of America, which comprises the former United States west of the Rocky Mountains; a Nazi puppet state that comprises the eastern half of the former United States; and a neutral zone that acts as a buffer between the two areas, called the Rocky Mountain States.

Oh and saw Star Wars on the weekend.

The hateful 8. It sadly does not hold a candle to inglorious bastards or even Jdango. The N word thrown around a lot as its set after the civil war. Samuel L Jackson was good though. Can't say the same for Kurt Russell.....
5/10
Also watched the Revenant. Only caught the middle/ end of it at a friends house. Brutal movie. Leonardo Di Caprio is tough as nails. 7/10

Watched Star Wars: the force awakens.
Excellent movie. Recommend to those that are Star Wars fans. Nice comedy in there with the action. No problem getting seats for the 10:30 am showing. Lots available on the sides which is where I like to sit.

Saw it last night. I agree with you. I wish I can tell my reasons here but won't spoil them to anyone. Maybe because it was Disney + JJ Abrams?

Spy. I never thought I would enjoy an action movie with Melissa McCarthy but I did. Jason statham was hilarious and I laughed from start to finish.

The new one right? you did understand they are the fantastic four from a different earth then the fantastic four in the movies prior. that's the part they didn't tell anyone.

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. It was OK. I appreciate that Tom Cruise does his own stunts & it really pays off here.
Staw Wars force awakens for the 3rd time. I get lost in the movie every time I watch it. It really does have rewatching capabilities.

The Revenant
I think the bear will win the Oscar befor DiCapprio. LOL
I was intrigued during the movie - but started picking it apart after the fact.
The Martian. Read the book. Quite a bit different, quite a bit the same. Still very watchable. Wife wanted to see it but when I was "sampling" it after getting it, I watched the whole thing, and then had to watch it again with her the next night - Enjoyed it both times! Could NOT say the same about Castaway. (people keep comparing it to that movie... not even close)

Sicario. It was not a happy movie by any account but had some pretty good moments. The lead guy, Benicio Del Toro is really good in this movie and I am now terrified of him. Would recommend.
Watched Ridiculous 6.
It was a horrible, Horrible Adam Sandler movie.
And yet I liked it. Very Zohan-ish. 6.5/10 Amusing.

I don't remember the last Adam Sandler movie that made me really laugh. The most recent ones I feel were money-grab. Zohan movie I like. That "Zohan music/sound" is really catchy and jokes lol
