You wouldnt need to roll the fenders depending on the drop but if you want them to poke out like that youre going to need spacers for sure.
I was actually going to buy the one on Kijiji but has wayy too much curb damage, hoping to find a set for next summer :D

Keep in mid to achieve these looks your going to have to keep note of your wheel bearings and hubs.. That takes a lot of stress on the joints and can easily snap..

The profile (sidewall height) is very similar between the two as well, because of what the numbers mean. 205 or 215 is the width in mm, while 45 or 40 is the sidewall height in % of the width. So 205/45 has a similar height to 215/40.

Meh. I know people like them because it's an inexpensive way to get flush, but they are such a tired style of wheel to me. And I'm not talking 'played' in the recent stance way, but the design stems from similar inexpensive wheels around 2000. So to me they've been common for so long with no interesting style, I just don't think it's worth investing any cash in.

Based on my experience (I ran 18x8.5 +38), I had ~8mm of space in the rear, and was just barely rubbing on the front on 225/40/18 tires. I was slammed on coilovers, so I had ~4* of camber in the rear.

I think the biggest thing will be your ride height, and how much camber you will end up with at your ride height (which varies slightly from car to car). The lower you go, the more natural camber you will end up with.

If you had to guess, you should be ok with a roll.

It's all preference, like its been said above. Personally, I love trying to push my fitment a little farther, but I also need my car daily so it has to be driveable. I don't think I'll ever be "done" with my fitment

Only time anyone would laugh is if you get stuck or break your car. I thought people would laugh at my blue wheels but it hasn't happened yet. Only negative comments I've gotten were from my girlfriend.
But to build a stanced car you have to accept that some people will think it's dumb. Just gotta have the stones to not give a sh*t :p
