Then my buddy ZGC showed up, and he apparently hulked-up yesterday and broke one of his studs for the rear strut mounts, So I cut that out. Made my 10 hour day into a 13 hour day. And now I'm missing a set of my needle nose pliers. At least it's Friday.

It's been a rough year for my car too. Shit keeps on braking. Just had my rear rotors replaced a few weeks ago and now the car's rear brakes sometimes screeches or does a low pitched moan every time I brake lightly.


This added with a bunch of other issues makes me think its time to find something else soon.

Next time, go from the top and use an air hammer with chisel, sheers the stud right out clean and then you can bolt through or weld a new one in.

Agreed. Sometimes the aggravation just isn't worth it, as satisfying and less expensive as DIY can be lol specially on older cars and cars just decide to be a PIA and make your life a living hell every time you want to do something "simple"

Certain things are definitely not worth DIYing unless you really enjoy it. Brakes are incredibly easy to do and do well and don't take long and save a lot of money. It all depends, I wouldn't say DIYing a clutch like I did earlier this year is worth it for most people for instance.

Yup second year hosting it near Zehrs. Runs all weekend. Tonight is country night for music, tomorrow night is rock. If u come, $2 admission, and i recommend bringing your own chair unless you're good with sitting on the ground. Dont drive over, Zehrs and home depot lots are packed

Overall a very smooth drive with the exception of one MASSIVE pothole which I swear I bent a rim but its fine on the outside and not about to look on the inner lip at the moment. A Honda Fit behind me hit it too and actually pulled over

Well, the zoom zoom is auto magic. We both knew how to drive stick from past experiences but she did the test drive a couple days ago and drove that car like a champ. Believe it or not she stuck the car in 3rd by mistake and successfully took off..... lol I was shocked.

Well I was being driven down to the bus station. But there were 5 of us in the car because even little kids count as a "person" since they have no "age" limit. Which does defeat the "carpool" thing to an extent because most people driving kids around aren't car pooling, and that really isn't who it's targeted at. But on the other hand some people have their kids car pool with other families and they switch off every week or so, so for that, and I think you can't really fight a child isn't a "person" they are just a young person, so it wouldn't make sense to not include them. So even on the way back my parents can use it. But people are definitely very touchy on the HOV lanes, and I would be too if I was driving down every day and they drastically affected my route.

Your 3 is the most desirable. Hatch rather than sedan, CWP, 2.0L - will go forever but I find rust is the deal breaker.

Also nice tails and a safe % of window tint for most peopke are a bonus.

I've been keeping an eye on AutoTrader for awhile. Id suggest selling private as the dealer will give you basically nothing...If in excellent condition with your mileage, I'd think $4k or maybe even $5k would not be unreasonable to ask....Problem; alot of 3s out there for sale atm.
