I believe subaru has a designated insurance company to offer special discounts to subaru drivers... now that info was obtained like 8 years ago. Shouldn't be too much, I asked my friend at allstate, what if I have an STi... she quoted me 115/month for the mazda and 128 for the STi.

I really like past generations of the car. I was just looking for something with a little more horsepower and AWD. I am Cole Trickle from days of thunder...I love driving but I am clueless when it comes to modding. It was easier to sell the wife on a new car vs countless mods and the fear of breaking something.

it might just be me but I see so many of them on the road compared to when the 04-07s were out. I miss that style (minus the wing) and I cant find them around with low mileage.

Airport Mazda. I don't think they are releasing one...in the immediate future. RX7 might make it's return before the speed 3 does.

I remember reading articles saying they are going to be high revving NA motors. Some other bullshit article said awd but I dont see Mazda going that route again after the speed6 but I could be wrong. I think they should stick with the speed3 hatch and pump out a bit more power... maybe 280-290. If the Ford RS can do it with fwd then so can the Mazda.

edit : I kinda feel like it would be bittersweet for the speed to just sail off into the sunset now though. They had a good run and seeing as how they have pretty low sales it would make the most sense.

Well I think they all came out together. 2010 3s and the 2010 speeds

Yes but there wasn't too much extra engineering that time around. Engine carried over mostly unchanged, minor tweaks to the suspension. The body changes were 80% taken care of with the regular Gen 2 release.
