Im in Edmonton, as well as all my friends. No issues here, Fort Mac is 4.5 hours north of me.
Funny enough, I didn't know about the fires until all my Ontario friends started asked me if I was okay. Haha.

We had a customer yesterday, from fort mac. He said his house and all his belongings are gonezo. All he had was his car, and the clothes on his back. Apparently the residents of Fort Mac won't be able to return for 3 to 4 weeks

Saw a first gen silver sedan that absolutely clobbered the barrier on the ramp from the gardiner to 427 north. Front of car was destroyed. Luckily the two occupants were outside the car chilling on the side & looked fine. Currently a one show woman at a small cafe, and quitting is long over due.

Also fixed all the brake issues, seized caliper like I thought, and a few other minor things. Now to get my summer wheels on :P Don't want to be parking my car beside the beauties in the lot with my rusted steelies ;P

Yeah, the commute sucks. I hear you. I use to only work Mississauga which was beautiful because in 5-10 minutes I'd usually be home. But now I've been working in shelburne, caledon, Orangeville, Bradford and cooktown. So I know the feeling. As of right now my union is on strike because of ridiculous offers so I'm home.

Luckily small roofs so I used a 6 foot ladder hopped up, hopped up the other roofs & got it then jumped off. Next time I'll practice in a field. One of the trims is way off just have to figure out which one lol

Actually it was the first Friday night I had off in a few months. Been working 6 nights a week from the last long weekend to now.

Bought a drone. Went outside to just hover around & learn controls & it ended up on my neighbours roof. That was fun. Luckily small roofs so I used a 6 foot ladder hopped up, hopped up the other roofs & got it then jumped off. Next time I'll practice in a field. One of the trims is way off just have to figure out which one lol

I love fireworks...something else from my childhood that I still cling to lol. I've been getting tipsy and watching the production that Wonderland puts on from my dressing room. The best it yet to come...watching traffic as people try to leave..2 hours before it clears up...all to watch a 15 minute show but I suppose its part of the experience. Canada Day is even worse.
